It officially opens this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of 15-501 and Interstate 40 in the <strong>Gateway Terrace development<\/strong> in Durham. Bring the whole family out on Sunday as they will have activities going on all day for the kids. If you are not familiar with <strong>PDQ<\/strong>, they specialize in fresh hand-battered chicken tenders, made-to-order sandwiches, daily cut fries, hand-spun milkshakes and\u00a0fresh salads. They also have locations in Raleigh, Wake Forest and Cary. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eatpdq.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Check them out here<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Wake County Restaurant News\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>In some of the biggest news to hit the foodie newsstands in our market, we confirmed this week that<strong> Chef Daniel Benjamin<\/strong>, formerly of the <strong>Umstead<\/strong> in Cary, is planning to open a pastry shop called <strong>Lucette Grace<\/strong> in downtown Raleigh (235 S. Salisbury Street) later this spring. He will specialize in sweet and savory breakfast pastries, desserts, and light lunch. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/lucettegrace\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Get all the details here<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>According to <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NewRaleigh\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">New Raleigh<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>, the <strong>New Berkeley Caf\u00e9<\/strong> (and <strong>Sadlack&#8217;s<\/strong>), will reopen\/open today (<strong>March 21st<\/strong>) at 5 p.m. for drinks, appetizers and then a full menu on Saturday. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Berkeley-Cafe\/35414122239\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Check them out on Facebook here<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Got word yesterday from <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NewRaleigh\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">New Raleigh<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong> that <strong>Groucho&#8217;s Deli<\/strong> opened on Horne Street (just off Hillsborough Street) in the old post office building. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.grouchos.com\/locations\/raleigh.html\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We found out this week that <strong>B.Good<\/strong>, a burger franchise from Massachusetts that touts itself as food made by people, not factories, is coming to the area with a location at <strong>North Hills<\/strong>. We&#8217;ll keep an eye on the exact location and opening date. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bgood.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Check them out here<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We had heard this rumor a while back, but we were able to confirm this week that <strong>Chubby&#8217;s Tacos<\/strong> will be opening a new store in Cary at <strong>Stone Creek Village<\/strong>. No word yet on an open date, but it can&#8217;t happen soon enough. This will mark the 6th Triangle area location. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.chubbystacos.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Check out Chubby&#8217;s here<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>It was noted this week that <strong>Carlo Nicolaza<\/strong>, owner of <strong>Bella Italia<\/strong> on Durant Road in Raleigh, is going to open a barbeque concept called <strong>Butcher Block Barbeque<\/strong> in the same building. It is currently under construction so we&#8217;ll keep an eye on it for an opening date. In the meantime, <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bellaitaliaraleigh.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">check out Bella Italia here<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We&#8217;ve got great news for fans of the <strong>Salem Street Pub<\/strong> in Apex. Those rumors got louder this week with the belief that the new establishment will be part of the new <strong>21st Century Museum Hotel<\/strong> complex. The hotel will be in the renovated <strong>Hill Building<\/strong>, which used to house CCB and then SunTrust banks. Stay tuned.
