He will join <strong>Scott Crawford\u2019s Crawford Brothers Steakhouse<\/strong>, <strong>Ford Fry\u2019s Superica<\/strong> and <strong>Steve Palmer\u2019s Colletta<\/strong>. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.m-restaurants.com\/m-sushi\">Visit M Sushi here<\/a> and keep up with the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/fentonnc.com\/\">Fenton development here<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>Wake County Restaurant News<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>This past Tuesday, <strong>Zambrero<\/strong>, Australia\u2019s largest Mexican franchise, opened&nbsp; its first location in the Southeast at <strong>One Glenwood<\/strong> in Raleigh (currently in soft-open mode). The restaurant\u2019s menu features fresh ingredients, superfood options and customizable dishes, such as burritos, bowls, tacos, nachos, dos capas and quesadillas. Fueled by a mission to help end world hunger, <strong>Zambrero<\/strong> participates in the <strong>Plate 4 Plate<\/strong> initiative in partnership with <strong>Rise Against Hunger<\/strong> where each burrito, bowl or bottle of water purchased provides a meal to someone in need. They will also be opening a store in Durham\u2019s <strong>University Hill<\/strong>. No word on the timeline for that. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.zambrero.com\/locations\/one-glenwood\" target=\"_blank\">Get familiar with them here<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The folks over at <strong>Brew Coffee Bar<\/strong> shared yesterday that their new location in <strong>Gateway Plaza<\/strong> (2409 Crabtree Blvd.) is in \u2018soft open\u2019 mode which means &#8211; right now they are open for coffee service only. But be patient, food and liquor come next week! Visit them <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/brewcoffeebarnc\/\" target=\"_blank\">on their Facebook page<\/a> to keep up with the latest!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Not sure what, but something is changing at <strong>Calavera<\/strong> on Morgan Street in Raleigh &#8211; in the meantime, they are closed. Their Facebook post stated, \u201cWe have some big things coming in the next month or so&#8230;.. and that\u2019s when we will tell you! We appreciate your patience and we can\u2019t wait to share our next phase with you all!\u201d So, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/calavelaraleigh\/\" target=\"_blank\">follow them on Facebook<\/a> and stay tuned.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The good people at<strong> ITB Insider<\/strong> tipped us off to the fact that Raleigh is soon to land their fourth location of <strong>First Watch<\/strong>. They noted that the upscale breakfast-chain is coming to the <strong>Marketplace Shopping Center<\/strong> on Lake Boone Trail. Raleigh already has locations on Glenwood north of the mall; <strong>Triangle Town Center<\/strong> on Capital; and <strong>Brier Creek<\/strong>). <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.firstwatch.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out here<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Stepping over into Cary, I got the opportunity yesterday to pay a visit to <strong>V Pizza<\/strong> &#8211; the concept that is entering this market later this month &#8211; and met with owner <strong>Anthony Rapillo<\/strong>. <strong>V Pizza<\/strong> is the Jacksonville, Florida based pizza concept that is extending outside of Florida for the first time coming to Cary in the&nbsp; former <strong>La Stella Pizzeria<\/strong> location in the <strong>Shoppes of Kildaire<\/strong>. They are targeting a <strong>January 21<\/strong> opening (of course that is all pending health inspections). Stay tuned and dial-in to <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/VPizzaCary\/\" target=\"_blank\">their Facebook page<\/a> to keep up-to-date on any announcements.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Also in the <strong>Shoppes at Kildaire<\/strong>, we told you back in December that <strong>Szechuan Mansion Hotpot<\/strong> was coming to the old <strong>Patrick Jane\u2019s Gourmet Pizza Bar<\/strong> spot. Well reader <strong>Matt Christ<\/strong> notified us that they just opened and he noted that early reviews and posts indicate that it looks amazing and authentic! <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.szechuanmansion.com\/indexe.html\" target=\"_blank\">Get familiar with them here<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Also in Cary, <strong>Cinnaholic<\/strong> at 1209 Parkside Main Street in the <strong>Parkside Town Commons<\/strong> shopping center opens this morning (<strong>January 10th<\/strong>) at 10 a.m. Although they are open all day, if you get there between 10 and 2 today, they are selling their cinnamon rolls for just $1! They serve create-your-own cinnamon rolls and other sweet treats like made from scratch brownies, cookies, and edible cookie dough. Select from over 20 unique frosting flavors and a variety of fresh and decadent toppings for your cinnamon roll. Mix and match flavors to create a new experience every visit! I went last night for a preview and it is WELL worth a visit (and I can highly recommend the <strong>Cookie Monster<\/strong>!!!)! Congrats to <strong>Vishal Shah<\/strong> and his team! <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/locations.cinnaholic.com\/ll\/US\/NC\/Cary\/1209-Parkside-Main-St\" target=\"_blank\">Take a peek at their yumminess here<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>Durham, Orange &amp; Chatham Restaurant News<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The <strong>News &amp; Observer<\/strong> reported that <strong>Blake\u2019s Grill<\/strong> opened this past Monday to long lines in the former <strong>Wimpy\u2019s Grill<\/strong> space in Durham, serving a similar breakfast and lunch menu and keeping the same 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. hours. <strong>Wimpy\u2019s<\/strong> closed last year after more than three decades of serving hamburgers and hot dogs on Hillsborough Road. <strong>Blake\u2019s Grill<\/strong> is named for its owner, <strong>Blake Hawthorne<\/strong>, who is best known for serving popular hot dogs and concessions in the parking lot of the Durham Lowe\u2019s.
