Look for a <strong>May 5th<\/strong> opening! <strong>DeMo&#8217;s<\/strong> is brought to us by the guys from <strong>DeMarco&#8217;s<\/strong> up in North Raleigh <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Demospizzeriadeli\" target=\"_blank\" shape=\"rect\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Check them out here<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Wake County Restaurant News<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>According to the <strong>News &amp; Observer<\/strong>, the owners of <strong>Taste<\/strong>, a tapas and wine bar on Medlin Drive, opened <strong>The Oak<\/strong> last week in Raleigh&#8217;s <strong>Marketplace at Lake Boone<\/strong> complex in the former <strong>618 Bistro<\/strong> space. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theoakraleigh.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" shape=\"rect\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">You can check them out here<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0A new Mexican restaurant has opened on Raleigh&#8217;s Honeycutt Road (8450 Honeycutt Road to be exact) called <strong>Taqueria Americana<\/strong>. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.taqueriaamericana.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" shape=\"rect\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Check them out here<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We saw on the blog <strong>Raleigh Public Record<\/strong> this week that there is a new restaurant coming into the <strong>Greystone Village shopping center<\/strong> called <strong>Papa&#8217;s Pizza &amp; Subs<\/strong>. They are in the middle of renovations and no open date has been set and we weren&#8217;t able to find a website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Normally this news would just make the pages of any bowling blog (is there such a thing?), but because of their focus on providing a unique dining experience, it is worth noting that <strong>Sparians<\/strong>, an upscale bowling alley and restaurant in Raleigh&#8217;s <strong>North Hills<\/strong>, has changed owners and will rebrand as\u00a0<strong>Kings Bowl America<\/strong>. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kingsbowlamerica.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" shape=\"rect\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Get a sneak peek at Kings here<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Got word this week that <strong>Menchie&#8217;s<\/strong>, a self-serve frozen yogurt franchise, has opened in Garner. The store is located at 2636 Timber Drive in the <strong>Garner Towne Square<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>If you are out in Knightdale, <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> noted that <strong>Latitudes Fine Food &amp; Spirits<\/strong> will be opening on Knightdale Boulevard near the water tower. They are looking to open sometime this month, but you can keep up with <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/LatitudesFineFoodandSpirits?ref=stream\" target=\"_blank\" shape=\"rect\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">them on Facebook here<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We&#8217;ve noted these before, but it is worth noting again. If you are interested in buying a successful restaurant, both <strong>Tony&#8217;s Oyster Bar <\/strong>in Cary and the <strong>Spotted Dog <\/strong>in Carrboro are for sale. If you have any interest, let me know and I&#8217;ll put you in touch with <strong>Neal DePersia<\/strong> at <strong>National Restaurant Properties<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Durham, Orange &amp; Chatham County Restaurant News\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Over in Durham, <strong>Caf\u00e9 Love<\/strong> will have their &#8220;official grand opening&#8221; on <strong>Monday, May 5th<\/strong> (but they are already open) from <strong>11 a.m. until 7 p.m.<\/strong> They are till takeout only &#8211; but they have a very nice deck area to enjoy. A huge congratulations to <strong>Jane Howard Crutchfield<\/strong> and <strong>Matthew Daniels<\/strong>. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/trfcafelove.com\/2014\/04\/grand-opening-celebration\/\" target=\"_blank\" shape=\"rect\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Check them out the opening details here<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Got word from the <strong>Herald Sun<\/strong> this week that <strong>Mi Peru<\/strong> (a Peruvian restaurant) will be opening at 4015 University Drive in the space that formerly housed <strong>Rick&#8217;s Diner, Bear Rock Caf\u00e9<\/strong> and most recently, <strong>Fresno Caf\u00e9<\/strong>. No opening date has been posted, but we&#8217;ll keep an eye on it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Also in Durham, <strong>WRAL<\/strong> noted last week that <strong>Blue Note Grill<\/strong> is moving over near the old <strong>Durham Athletic Park<\/strong>. The <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> and the <strong>Herald Sun<\/strong> report that it will be located in a two-bay building at 709 and 711 Washington St. The venue will be remodeled into a restaurant with a live music space and outdoor patio.\u00a0We&#8217;ll keep an eye on it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Over in Chapel Hill, got word from friend <strong>Wendy Ransbury<\/strong> that <strong>Jersey Mike&#8217;s<\/strong> has opened a new location in <strong>Chapel Hill North<\/strong> at 1802 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jerseymikes.com\/3139\/Chapel-Hill-NC\" target=\"_blank\" shape=\"rect\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Check them out here<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Closings\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Got word this week that <strong>Ox and Rabbit Soda and Sundries<\/strong> on Durham&#8217;s Ninth Street will be closing their doors.
