They are open Tuesday and Wednesdays from 2 &#8211; 8 p.m. for <strong>Snacks and Drinks<\/strong> on the porch and patio, and open Thursday, Friday and Saturday for dinner and takeout from 5-10 p.m. Walk-in only, no reservations. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/stanburyraleigh\/\" target=\"_blank\">Visit them on Instagram<\/a><\/strong> for their dine-in and take-out menus. You can make a reservation on their website up to 30 days in advance. <strong>Garland<\/strong> is helmed by <strong>Cheetie Kumar<\/strong>, a four-time James Beard semifinalist for Best Chef Southeast for her take on Indian and Asian meets Southern cuisine. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/garlandraleigh.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check it out here and make your reservations<\/a><\/strong>! <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Also in Raleigh, <strong>Jessica Rutti<\/strong> shared the news that the former <strong>Edwards Mill Bar and Grill<\/strong> has been completely renovated, redesigned and rebranded, reopening yesterday as <strong>Otra Vez<\/strong>, featuring crafted tacos, tortas and tequilla. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/eatotravez\" target=\"_blank\">Looks like their Facebook page<\/a><\/strong> might be the best way to keep up with them. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Saw on <strong>Ashton Mae Smith&#8217;s<\/strong> weekly email that <strong>Wye Hill Kitchen &amp; Brewing<\/strong> has resumed their Sunday morning brunch, served from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. They have a very spacious dining room, as well as their huge patio with the best view of the downtown Raleigh skyline. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/wyehill\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out on Instagram<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>NC State students will have another Hillsborough Street dining option when they return to campus next semester as <strong>Michael DePersia<\/strong> of <strong>DePersia &amp; Associates<\/strong> shared with me that they have leased the former <strong>Jimmy John\u2019s<\/strong> space (on the same block of Hillsborough St. as <strong>Chipotle<\/strong>) to <strong>David Huang<\/strong> of <strong>Hibachi &amp; Co.<\/strong> They already have stores at Campbell, UNC as well as in Fuquay Varina and Garner. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hibachicompany.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Visit them here<\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Over in downtown Cary, <strong>Raleigh Convergence<\/strong> also shared that <strong>Daybreak <\/strong>is now open, a new breakfast, brunch and tacos restaurant.&nbsp;On the menu are taco flights with eight options to&nbsp;mix and match; a three-meats Big Swanson Burrito; as well as pancakes, biscuits, other breakfast fare and a dedicated kids menu. People familiar with their sister restaurant, <strong>Crosstown Pub &amp; Grill<\/strong>, will recognize some of the names behind <strong>Daybreak<\/strong> (<strong>Sheila<\/strong>, <strong>Sean<\/strong> and <strong>Brendan Ryan<\/strong>). The head chef is&nbsp;<strong>Juan Duartes<\/strong>. Daybreak is open 7 a.m.-2 p.m. daily at&nbsp;154 E. Chatham St. in Cary. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.daybreaknc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Visit them here<\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>And just like that, there were nine. Well, not just like that, but on October 9th, <strong>Alpaca Peruvian Charcoal Chicken<\/strong> will open their 9th location here in in the Triangle, this one in <strong>Nichols Plaza<\/strong> in Apex (1107 Pine Plaza Drive). <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.alpacachicken.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Visit Alpaca here<\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Looking for all the outdoor dining options in Downtown Raleigh? The <strong>Downtown Raleigh Alliance<\/strong> has put together a great list of those options, and they even divided it up by district. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.downtownraleigh.org\/post\/where-to-drink-and-dine-outdoors-in-downtown-raleigh\"><strong>Check out that list here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Durham, Orange &amp; Chatham Restaurant News<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Carrie Brogren<\/strong> shared with the <strong>Chapel Hill Carrboro Foodies Group<\/strong> that <strong>Bottle Rev Chapel Hill<\/strong> will move move across the way and into the space vacated by <strong>Tobacco Road Sports Cafe<\/strong> at <strong>East 54<\/strong>. <strong>Chapelboro<\/strong> shed a little more light on the matter with the news that the shop and taproom will rebrand to become <strong>Old East Tavern<\/strong> and will be bringing on <strong>Josh Coburn<\/strong> to be its executive chef to curate its menu. <strong>Coburn<\/strong> recently worked as the executive chef of the recently closed <strong>City Kitchen<\/strong>. Look for a 2021 opening. In the meantime, <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/BottleRevCH\" target=\"_blank\">keep up with their progress on Facebook here<\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In Durham, <strong>WRAL&#8217;s Sarah Krueger<\/strong> uncovered and confirmed by the folks at <strong>Building Bull City<\/strong> that the former <strong>Papa John&#8217;s<\/strong> on Morgan Street is being renovated and will become a franchise location of a concept called <strong>Happy Pie<\/strong>. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/happypie.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Not much on their website<\/a><\/strong>, so we will keep an eye on this one. Main Street where <strong>Tom &amp; Che<\/strong> and <strong>One Fish, Two Fish<\/strong> used to be. Not much info on their Facebook page, but Japanese cuisine and whiskey&#8230;.yes, please! <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/izawhiskeyeats\" target=\"_blank\">Keep up with them on their Facebook page here<\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Closings \/ Cancellations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>And it was confirmed last Friday, just after we published, that Chapel Hill&#8217;s <strong>City Kitchen<\/strong> has closed. Will miss that place<strong>. <\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>And it was also confirmed last Friday, that Carrboro&#8217;s <strong>Elmo&#8217;s<\/strong> (in <strong>Carr Mill Mall<\/strong>) has also made the difficult decision to close. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>And the <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> reported that <strong>Brio Tuscan Grille<\/strong> in Raleigh&#8217;s <strong>Crabtree Valley Mall <\/strong>which has been closed since March will not reopen. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Food Trucks&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Triangle on the Cheap<\/strong> shared the news that <strong>Food Truck Flix<\/strong> is a recurring event that combines drive-in movies with food trucks, for a safer entertainment experience just announced their schedule for the upcoming weekends (Friday and Saturday nights).&nbsp;The events will be taking place at <strong>Frontier RTP<\/strong>, 800 Park Offices, Durham, and at Focus Church, 7000 Destiny Drive, Raleigh. You can purchase tickets in advance for any of the drive-in movies. The price is $25 per car. Of course, you\u2019ll also want to bring money for the food trucks.
