The sandwich shop, nearly five years in the making, is from <strong>Matt Fern<\/strong> who was the former beverage director for <strong>Ashley Christensen\u2019s AC Restaurants<\/strong> group. After light renovations, the space\u00a0will have inside seating (for about 25) and outside seating (for about 12). Look for them to open soon(ish). Check them out <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/ish_delicatessen\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">on Instagram here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>And we have a date (ish) for the second Raleigh location of <strong>Cape Fear Seafood Company<\/strong> &#8212; and we don&#8217;t have much longer to wait! They shared via Facebook that they are looking at an early April opening. This second Raleigh location will be in the <strong>Village District<\/strong> (formerly <strong>Cameron Village<\/strong>) in the former <strong>Cameron Bar &amp; Grill<\/strong> spot next to the <strong>Flying Biscuit<\/strong>. Until then, <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.capefearseafoodcompany.com\/north-raleigh\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">visit them in their current Raleigh location on Spring Forest Road here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In Raleigh, <strong>Catering Works<\/strong> shared the news this week via Facebook that they have entered into an exclusive partnership with the <strong>North Carolina Museum of Art<\/strong>. Visit <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ac-restaurants.com\/death-taxes\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Death &amp; Taxes here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Crawford and Son<\/strong> has brought back <strong>Crawford Curbside<\/strong> Tuesday through Thursday evenings where you can call in pre-orders from 2pm-4pm for same day pick up from 5pm-8pm. Orders may be picked up from the bar or can be brought out curbside to your car. To go cocktails, beer, and wine are also available. He shared that <strong>Jonathan Pierce<\/strong>, owner of <strong>The Mason Jar Tavern<\/strong> in Fuquay and Holly Springs and co-owner of <strong>Scratch Kitchen &amp; Taproom<\/strong> in Apex, announced that <strong>Scratch Kitchen &amp; Taproom<\/strong> will open in downtown Cary this spring in the former <strong>Postmaster Restaurant &amp; Bar <\/strong>location at 160 E. Cedar Street, and right next to the <strong>Big Mike\u2019s BBQ<\/strong> location we announced last week that is coming soon. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Scratch-Kitchen-and-Taproom-Cary-333865271182912\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Best to follow them on Facebook here for the latest announcements<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Also in Cary, the <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> reported that <strong>Potbelly Sandwich Shop<\/strong> is opening a new location, it\u2019s third in the Triangle, at <strong>Parkside Town Commons <\/strong>on the northwestern edge of town. <strong>Mohit Kishore<\/strong> and <strong>Tulshi Bhakar<\/strong> plan to open in April. It will be their second location following the flagship pub which opened in 2018 in an old furniture warehouse in the heart of downtown Oxford. The menu includes traditional pub food and barbecue-fusion. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/tobaccowoodbrewing.co\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Get to know them here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>While <strong>Old East Tavern<\/strong> in Chapel Hill&#8217;s <strong>East 54<\/strong> development hasn&#8217;t made an official announcement yet, indications on Facebook suggest that announcement will be made in the next few days and it is looking like they will hit their target of opening in February. As you will recall, this is <strong>Bottle Rev Chapel Hill<\/strong>, the Chapel Hill location of the Raleigh-based bottle shop, that will be moving to fill the space left by <strong>Tobacco Road Sports Cafe<\/strong>. You will also recall that <strong>Josh Coburn<\/strong> will be the executive chef. <strong>Coburn<\/strong> recently worked as the executive chef of <strong>City Kitchen<\/strong>, Check out <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oldeasttavern.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">their new website here<\/span><\/a><\/strong> and be on the lookout for their upcoming announcement on <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/OldEastTavern\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">their Facebook page here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Over in Durham they announced this week that the <strong>Heavenly Buffaloes<\/strong> location on Erwin Road (former <strong>Tamale Factory<\/strong> spot) is now open.
