It will feature simple and delicious \u201cAmericana\u201d style cooking from a wood fired grill &#8212; like house-ground burgers, smoked chicken, chicken and duck wings, smoked duck, beef and pork ribs, and seasonal vegetables for salads. Look for <strong>Crawford&#8217;s<\/strong> fried chicken and prime ribs to make the &#8220;weekly specials&#8221; list. In the meantime, <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.crawfordandsonrestaurant.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">visit Crawford and Son here<\/span><\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/restaurantjolie.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Jolie here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Wake County Restaurant News<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Perhaps you are one of the hundreds\/thousands of folks that have been following\/keeping up with <strong>Christopher Lopez<\/strong> and <strong>John Kleinart<\/strong>. If you haven&#8217;t been following along, here&#8217;s an overly-simplified recap. <strong>Lopez <\/strong>and<strong> Kleinart<\/strong> closed <strong>Postmaster<\/strong> in Cary due to the pandemic. They quickly created a takeout menu centered around cheeseburgers and branded themselves as <strong>Gov\u2019t Cheeseburger<\/strong> operating out of the <strong>Postmaster<\/strong> location. They then took their &#8216;show&#8217; on the road and started <strong>Fine Folk<\/strong>, operating out of the downtown Raleigh bar, <strong>Foundation<\/strong>. And now they have landed their short order kitchen inside <strong>Union Special<\/strong> in Raleigh&#8217;s Gateway Plaza. Probably best to get by in the evenings Wednesday through Saturday. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/finefolknc\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Follow them on Instagram here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> shared the news this week that this summer <strong>Ladyfingers Catering<\/strong> will debut <strong>Ladyfingers Market and Eatery <\/strong>at the <strong>Sojourn Glenwood Place<\/strong>. Shoppers will be able to purchase <strong>Ladyfingers\u2019<\/strong> signature shaved country ham rolls, gourmet frozen prepared meals, grocery dry goods, baked goods, dairy products, household necessities, bottled craft beer and fine wines. The cafe-style dining will feature fresh-brewed coffee, espresso, breakfast options, baked goods, handcrafted sandwiches, artisanal deli salads and by-the-glass craft beer and wine. Ladyfingers joins the already announced <strong>Iron Oaks Taproom<\/strong> and <strong>Sushi Mon<\/strong>. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ladyfingersofraleigh.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Visit Ladyfingers here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/span> <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A quick update &#8211; at <strong>Transfer Co. Food Hall<\/strong>, <strong>Burial Beer&#8217;s<\/strong> expansion into the new space on the corner with <strong>The Exhibit Bottle Shop<\/strong> announced that they will open on <strong>March 13th<\/strong> (that&#8217;s tomorrow!). The new space will feature new murals, more seating, new two tops, twice the number of existing taps and a bevy of updates. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/burialbeer\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Follow them on Instagram here.<\/span><\/a><\/strong> <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>And speaking of openings (or re-openings), the folks over at <strong>so\u2022ca<\/strong>, cocina latina in Raleigh&#8217;s <strong>Village District<\/strong>, announced this week that they will-reopen and begin taking reservations on April 14. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/socaraleigh.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit so\u2022ca here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Reader <strong>Jane Bell<\/strong> noticed a new sign for <strong>Kazu Hibachi <\/strong>at Raleigh&#8217;s <strong>Brennan Station<\/strong> on Creedmoor Road. It will be located next door to <strong>BottleMixx <\/strong>at 8111 Creedmoor Road. Unfortunately, we couldn&#8217;t find an online presence for them. Stay tuned! <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Saw on <strong>RalToday<\/strong> that Raleigh bakeries <strong>Boulted Bread and Benchwarmers Bagels<\/strong> received a shout-out in <strong>Food &amp; Wine\u2019s<\/strong> recent round-up of the <strong>Best Bagels in America<\/strong>. Both are located in downtown Raleigh &#8211; <strong>Boulted<\/strong> on South Street, and <strong>Benchwarmers<\/strong> in the <strong>Transfer Co.
