Beginning <strong>THIS Saturday<\/strong> <strong>(April 3rd)<\/strong> <strong>from 5-9 p.m.<\/strong>, and every Saturday through June, they will pick a different district in downtown to encourage guests to frequent (dine-in, dine outside or order take-out). It begins this weekend <strong>(April 3rd)<\/strong>  with the focus being on <strong>Fayetteville Street<\/strong>. Complimentary parking is available throughout downtown<strong>. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/downtownraleigh.org\/dra-programs\/dine-out-downtown\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Get all the details and see which restaurants will be participating this Saturday here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Wake County Restaurant News<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>On a recent drive down Hillsborough Street, I noticed a <strong>&#8220;Coming Soon&#8221;<\/strong> sign up at the former <strong>Sub Conscious Subs<\/strong> location at 3209 Hillsborough Street for <strong>Italian Kitchen of Raleigh<\/strong>. I was unable to find a web presence for them. Stay tuned. <\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> reported that Raleigh may soon be getting a new drive-thru-only version of <strong>Chick-fil-A<\/strong> at 651 E. Six Forks Road across from the Costco store near Wake Forest Road and by the Wegmans in the <strong>Midtown East<\/strong> shopping center. The application will require the demolition and redevelopment of the Enterprise Rent-A-Car location. No word yet on the timing.<strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.chick-fil-a.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"> <span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit Chick-fil-A here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Speaking of Hillsborough Street (or just off Hillsborough Street), a quick update from <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> about the <strong>Players\u2019 Retreat<\/strong> &#8211; owner <strong>Gus Gusler<\/strong> says he will reopen outdoor dining only beginning mid-May, once employees are fully vaccinated. <strong>Gusler<\/strong> is also working to more than double <strong>PR\u2019s<\/strong> current sidewalk seating from 64 to ~130. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/playersretreat\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Might be best to follow them on Facebook<\/span><\/a><\/strong> for exact dates and other announcements. <\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The <strong>Triangle Business Journal <\/strong>reported this week that you&#8217;ll soon be able to enjoy a <strong>Bo-Berry Biscuit\u00ae<\/strong> from <strong>Bojangles<\/strong> at a large master-planned community at 2232 Wendell Falls Parkway in Wendell in the second quarter of 2022. The new location is part of about 2 million square feet of retail space that will include other restaurants and shops as businesses follow the housing boom in the eastern Wake County. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bojangles.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit Bojangles here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Over in Cary, reader <strong>Chad Osborn<\/strong> let us know that  a new Chinese restaurant called <strong>Shanghai Alley Inc. <\/strong>opened in Cary on Kildaire Farm Road in the old <strong>Carrabba\u2019s<\/strong> <strong>Italian Grill<\/strong> location (next door to <strong>Goodberry\u2019s<\/strong>). <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/shanghaialleyinc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Get familiar with them here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Thanks to a tip from <strong>David McCreary<\/strong>, we learned that Aye! Vendors will include <strong>Taco Park, Ramyun Time, Itaewon Grill, <\/strong>and<strong> Cupdak<\/strong>. There is plenty of patio seating as well as craft brews. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.parksfoodst.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Check out Park&#8217;s here<\/span><\/a><\/strong><em>.<\/em><\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Triangle Business Journal <\/strong>reported that <strong>Farmside Kitchen<\/strong>, home of the farmbowl, opened yesterday (Thursday) in <strong>Churchill Commons<\/strong> at 5431 Page Road in Durham\/RTP (at the intersection with Miami Boulevard). Piedmont Four will play live music from 5pm to 8pm.
