But some of those include: <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nanasteak.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">NanaSteak<\/span><\/a><\/strong> in Durham is now open (thanks for the tip <strong>Kitty Kinnin<\/strong>!); <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/acmecarrboro.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">ACME<\/span><\/a><\/strong> in downtown Carrboro opens tonight (Friday, April 23); <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/mateotapas.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Mateo Tapas<\/span><\/a><\/strong> on Chapel Hill Street in downtown Durham re-opened for indoor dining this week; and <strong>Ken Yowell\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oakcitymeatball.com\/\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Oak City Meatball<\/span><\/a><\/strong> (which is currently doing take-out and delivery Wednesday-Saturday evenings) has hinted they will re-open around the first of May. All very exciting!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Wake County Restaurant News<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Bates Battaglia<\/strong> and his brother <strong>Anthony<\/strong> are close to opening Raleigh&#8217;s newest night life destination in the heart of the <strong>Glenwood South<\/strong> district in the former <strong>NOIR<\/strong> space (425 Glenwood Ave.). The new venue will be called <strong>Teets<\/strong>, a nod to their grandfather who was a prominent member of the <strong>Chicago Outfit<\/strong> with <strong>Johnny Torrio<\/strong> and <strong>Al Capone<\/strong>. The venue will feature massive front and back patios outside while the inside will feature an over 40-ft long main bar, multiple TVs, a giant projection screen (perfect for watching your favorite hockey games!), a pool table, corn hole and darts. A great addition to <strong>Glenwood South<\/strong>. Learn more about the bar, its namesake and when they will open <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.teetsraleigh.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">on their website here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>According to a Facebook post by NC Triangle Dining is looks like we are about two weeks (possibly <strong>May 5<\/strong>) from the opening of <strong>Torchy\u2019s Tacos Raleigh \u2013 Midtown East<\/strong> (located in front of the Wegman\u2019s location on Wake Forest Road). <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/torchystacos.com\/location\/midtown-east\/\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Keep up with any announcements on their website here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Eastern Wake County could be getting a few more burger options according to my friend<strong> David McCreary<\/strong> who shared the news that Cary-based <strong>Corbett&#8217;s Burgers &amp; Soda Bar<\/strong> is now franchising and looking to open new locations in Apex, Fuquay-Varina and Holly Springs. Food Hall<\/strong>, will open <strong>Seaboard Social Hall<\/strong>, a new multi-venue gathering space in Wilmington in the old National Linen Service building. The facility will include a food hall, music hall, maker\u2019s market, commissary kitchen and ghost kitchens and is set to open in late 2022 or early 2023. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.seaboardsocialhall.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Get all the details on their site here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Durham, Orange &amp; Chatham Restaurant News<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The <strong>Triangle Business Journal <\/strong>reported this week that <strong>Tipsy Bull<\/strong>, a sports bar and grill, is set to open by the end of the summer on the ground level at the Durham County Administration II Building at 201 E. Main St. According to <strong>TBJ<\/strong>, it will have an open concept and a contemporary design with TVs, a central dining area, bar and patio that will seat over 150 people. Congrats to owners <strong>John Orlando<\/strong> and <strong>Nick Pettiford<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Our friends at <strong>Bites of Bull City<\/strong> shared the news this week that <strong>YaYa Tea<\/strong> on the <strong>Golden Belt campus<\/strong> at 807 E. Main Street is now in soft open mode. You can view their menu and get directions <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/yayatea.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">on their website here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. It continues every Saturday through June and highlights a different district in downtown. This <strong>Saturday<\/strong> <strong>(April 24th)<\/strong> <strong>from 5-9 p.m<\/strong>. This weekend\u2019s focus will be on <strong>Fayetteville Street<\/strong>. Join them from 12 \u2013 9 p.m. to shop, carry out, dine in or dine out. <strong>The Streetery<\/strong> will happen on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month and they will announce the location for each Saturday. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/downtowndurham.com\/streetery\/\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Get all the details here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The <strong>Durham Bulls<\/strong> are taking &#8220;eating at the ballpark&#8221; to a whole new level with their <strong>Dining at the DBAP<\/strong> where guests will have three nights (April 27-29) to literally dine on the field!
