This marks the first new restaurant for <strong>Giorgios Hospitality Group<\/strong> to open since <strong>Rosewater<\/strong> in Raleigh&#8217;s <strong>North Hills<\/strong> 2019, and the third addition to <strong>GHG\u2019s<\/strong> Chapel Hill repertoire of restaurants \u2013 including <strong>Bin 54 Steakhouse and Cellar<\/strong> and <strong>Kipos Greek Taverna<\/strong>. Look for simple, fresh Italian food made by hand, using exquisite local and Italian cheeses, braised meats and North Carolina seafood, and a wide variety of pastas made in house to serve alongside Italian wines and riffs on classic Italian cocktails. But some of those include: <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" =\"http:\/\/www.stanburyraleigh.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Stanbury<\/span><\/a><\/strong> on N. Blount Street in Raleigh opened yesterday inside and out. No reservations, walk-in only; <strong>Raleigh Convergence<\/strong> shared the news that <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" =\"https:\/\/garlandraleigh.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Garland<\/span><\/a> <\/strong>is now open for dining room and bar reservations; over in Chapel Hill the <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> reported that <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" =\"https:\/\/www.perennial.cafe\/\" target=\"_blank\">Perennial Cafe<\/a><\/strong> will return to serving its crafted coffee beverages and baked goods beginning in mid-May, according to owner <strong>Scott Conary<\/strong>; <strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" =\"https:\/\/www.relishraleigh.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Relish Craft Kitchen &amp; Bourbon Bar<\/a> <\/span><\/strong>on Creedmoor Road in Raleigh has officially reopened its indoor dining<strong>. <\/strong>The Southern-comfort restaurant will still offer patio seating + curbside takeout; and back over in Chapel Hill, <strong>Southern Village&#8217;s <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" =\"https:\/\/thetownhallgrill.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Town Hall Grill<\/a><\/strong> has set a target date of <strong>May 12<\/strong> for re-opening. All very exciting!<\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>WRAL<\/strong> shared the news that the space previously home to <strong>Busy Bee Cafe<\/strong> \/ <strong>Trophy Tap &amp; Table<\/strong> (225 S. Wilmington Street), is being renovated and turned into a restaurant and distillery called <strong>Young Hearts<\/strong>. It will be operated by the same team as <strong>Busy Bee<\/strong>, <strong>Trophy Tap &amp; Table<\/strong>, <strong>State of Beer<\/strong> and <strong>Trophy Brewing Company<\/strong>. The space is undergoing renovations, including the destruction of the downstairs bar. Instead, pedestrians will be able to look into the windows from the street and see the distiller working. Upstairs will feature a 20-foot opening for sliding barn doors to a rooftop patio where diners will enjoy a large outdoor awning that will have heaters and fans. Look for them to open sometime this summer. <\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It looks like next week on <strong>May 5<\/strong> is the opening day of <strong>Torchy\u2019s Tacos Raleigh \u2013 Midtown East<\/strong> (located in front of the Wegman\u2019s location on Wake Forest Road). <strong><a =\"https:\/\/torchystacos.com\/location\/midtown-east\/\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Keep up with any announcements on their website here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>And speaking of openings at <strong>Midtown East<\/strong>, <strong>RalToday<\/strong> shared that <strong>Ashley Christensen\u2019s<\/strong> new restaurant concept, <strong>BB\u2019s Crispy Chicken<\/strong>, is slated to open in <strong>June<\/strong>. That will be followed by two additional locations, one in Durham and the other in Cary, marking <strong>Christensen\u2019s <\/strong>first ventures outside of Raleigh. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" =\"https:\/\/bbscrispychicken.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Get familiar with them here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Our friends over at <strong>RalToday<\/strong> informed us that <strong>Clean Juice<\/strong> is opening a location in <strong>North Hills<\/strong> later this summer in the <strong>Lassiter District<\/strong>, between Sur La Table and MADISON. The Charlotte-based juice bar has Triangle-area locations in Chapel Hill and Durham but this will be its first Raleigh location &#8211; finally! They are projected to open late summer 2021. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" =\"https:\/\/www.cleanjuice.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out here<\/a><\/strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" =\"https:\/\/raleighconvergence.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Raleigh Convergence<\/span><\/a><\/strong> shared the news that <strong>ItsAWrap Eatery,<\/strong> a Vietnamese restaurant, opened last week in Morrisville at 10970 Chapel Hill Road. The menu includes pho, Bahn Mi sandwiches and vermicelli noodle bowls. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" =\"https:\/\/www.itsawrapeatery.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">You can get to know them here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. Well, reader <strong>Herman Huang<\/strong> shared with us the news that they have now opened. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" =\"https:\/\/www.wok-haus.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Get to know them here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>And speaking of Hillsborough Street, <strong>Italian Kitchen of Raleigh<\/strong> is in soft-opening mode further down the street in the former <strong>Sub Conscious Subs<\/strong> spot at 3209 Hillsborough Street. Right now they are offering a limited menu as the finalize everything including the patio out front, as well as a new patio out back. First up was the news that <strong>Lime and Lemon Indian Grill and Bar<\/strong> &#8211; with locations in Durham and Raleigh &#8211; will be opening a third Triangle-area location as they prepare to move into the old <strong>Fusion Fish<\/strong> space in Chapel Hill&#8217;s <strong>Meadowmont<\/strong>. No word yet on an open date. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" =\"https:\/\/www.lnlrestaurant.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit them here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Carrie<\/strong> also shared the news that beginning today, <strong>Friday, April 30th<\/strong>, <strong>The Pizza Press<\/strong> is rebranding. They will no longer be a part of <strong>The Pizza Press<\/strong> franchise. They will be reopening as <strong>S\u00f4st<\/strong>, which is the phonetic spelling of the word \u201csauced\u201d. With this change, you can expect the same great food and service, but they will be adding some ingredients to the build-your-own pizza concept, as well as adding some new menu items like pasta, sandwiches, wraps, and bar bites. Not much on their website, <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" =\"https:\/\/www.kpanns.com\/sost\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.kpanns.com\/sost\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">but you can visit them here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Over in Durham, <strong>RalToday<\/strong> shared that national sensation <strong>Jeni\u2019s Splendid Ice Cream<\/strong> is coming to <strong>Brightleaf Square<\/strong> later this year. No word yet on an exact date. This will be their first Triangle-area location and only the second North Carolina location (Charlotte). <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" =\"https:\/\/jenis.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Get to know them here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>And down in Chatham County, a new taco house called <strong>Sabroso<\/strong> has taken up residence in the former <strong>Burger King<\/strong> (same building as the Eagles gas station) on 15-501 just south of Chapel Hill. A taco house with a drive-thru? Sign me up! This weekend\u2019s focus will be on <strong>Warehouse District &#8211; Morgan Street Food Hall<\/strong>.
