Unlike &#8216;typical&#8217; food halls, you will order from your phone and the food is brought to your table by a server. The Knightdale location will feature\u00a0<strong>Poblanos Tacos<\/strong>, <strong>Fiori Trattoria<\/strong>, <strong>The Corner Venezuelan Food<\/strong> and <strong>Finca Burger<\/strong>. The duo also announced that they plan to open a second, larger <strong>Craften<\/strong> in Clayton by the end of the year, which will feature 6,000 square feet of indoor space, plus a 4,000-square-foot astroturf lawn area. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/craftenfood.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Start getting familiar with them here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Wake County Restaurant News<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Got word this week that <strong>LM Restaurants<\/strong> and <strong>&#8220;Top Chef&#8221;<\/strong> alum <strong>Katsuji Tanabe<\/strong> are teaming up for a Mexican restaurant in Cary. <strong>A\u2019Verde Cocina and Tequila Library<\/strong> will be located at 2300 Walnut Street in the former <strong>Wild Wing Cafe<\/strong> space at the <strong>Centrum at Crossroads<\/strong> shopping center. Fellow restaurateur <strong>Giorgios Bakatsias<\/strong> is designing the space. <strong>Tanabe<\/strong> became the Chef in Residence at <strong>LM Restaurants&#8217; Vidrio<\/strong> in downtown Raleigh last summer, joining the team after his first North Carolina restaurant, <strong>High Horse<\/strong>, closed during the COVID-19 pandemic. They hope to open the restaurant this summer. Not much up yet <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.averdecary.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">on the website<\/span><\/a><\/strong>, but you can follow their progress <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/averdemexican\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">on the Facebook page here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Raleigh Magazine<\/strong> also shared the news that the much-anticipated plant-based restaurant and taproom <strong>Element Gastropub <\/strong>has opened at the <strong>One City Plaza<\/strong>  (421 Fayetteville Street) in downtown. <strong>Element Gastropub<\/strong> offers vegan and vegetarian comfort foods and classic bar snacks for brunch, lunch and dinner. They are in the space that was <strong>Z Pizza<\/strong>, followed by <strong>Gigi&#8217;s Pizza<\/strong>. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/elementgastropub.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Get to know them here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The wait is finally over. The popular Tex-Mex chain <strong>Torchy\u2019s Tacos<\/strong> is now open in <strong>Midtown East<\/strong>. The Austin-based fast-casual restaurant is serving up tacos, margaritas, and<strong> <\/strong>queso in its first-ever NC location. Might be time to get by and check out all the hype &#8211; I&#8217;ve never been to one. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/torchystacos.com\/location\/midtown-east\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Check them out here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Our friends over at <strong>RalToday <\/strong>shared that the highly-anticipated <strong>Bond Brothers Eastside<\/strong> in Cary opened its doors this past weekend. The Cary brewery is located at 602 E Chatham St. (near WakeMed Soccer Park). <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bondbrothersbeer.com\/eastside-home\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Check them out here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>And speaking of places to grab a drink &#8211; <strong>Glenwood South<\/strong> welcomed the opening of the watering hole <strong>Teets Raleigh<\/strong> at 425 Glenwood South. Owned by brothers <strong>Bates<\/strong> and <strong>Anthony Bataglia<\/strong>, the space features two huge outdoor patios, and an open and welcoming indoor space featuring tons of TVs to catch your favorite sporting event (primarily our Carolina Hurricanes!) It continues every Saturday through June and highlights a different district in downtown. This <strong>Saturday<\/strong> <strong>(May 8)<\/strong> <strong>from 5-9 p.m<\/strong>. This weekend\u2019s focus will be on <strong>Fayetteville Street<\/strong>.
