The distillery will occupy the space previously home to <strong>Busy Bee Cafe<\/strong> \/ <strong>Trophy Tap &amp; Table<\/strong> (225 S. Wilmington Street). It will open as a restaurant and distillery operated by the same team as <strong>Busy Bee<\/strong>, <strong>Trophy Tap &amp; Table<\/strong>, <strong>State of Beer<\/strong> and <strong>Trophy Brewing Company<\/strong>. They also shared that they have they have teamed up with chef <strong>Alex Ricci<\/strong>, who previously served as executive chef at <strong>Guglhupf Artisan Bakery, Restaurant &amp; Caf\u00e9<\/strong> in Durham, and master distiller <strong>Mena Killough<\/strong>. Congrats to business partners <strong>Chris Powers<\/strong>, <strong>David Lockwood<\/strong>, <strong>David Meeker<\/strong> and <strong>Les Stewart<\/strong>. The group has two <strong>Trophy Brewing<\/strong> locations in Raleigh \u2013 the brewery and taproom at 656 Maywood Ave. and the brewing and pizza place at 827 W. Morgan St. \u2013 as well as <strong>State of Beer<\/strong> at 401 Hillsborough St. in Raleigh. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Youngheartsdistilling\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Follow along with their progress on Facebook<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Wake County Restaurant News<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Over in Cary, the <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> shared that <strong>Cotton House Craft Brewers<\/strong> will open <strong>Triangle Beer Co.<\/strong> at 320 E. Durham Road in the former <strong>Jordan Lake Brewing<\/strong> facility on <strong>June 26<\/strong>. They will have 16 taps with a broad range of current and new beers. It&#8217;s situated less than a mile from the original taphouse, <strong>Cotton House<\/strong>, at 307 S. Academy St. The new space will also feature the company&#8217;s newly launched <strong>Craft Concepts @ TBC<\/strong>, a permanent mobile food kitchen and catering service that will serve the Triangle area. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/trianglebeer.co\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit their website here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>People who live,\u202fwork\u202fand travel through\u202fWake Forest\u202fcan now experience <strong>Dunkin\u2019s<\/strong> store of the future. <strong>Dunkin\u2019\u202f<\/strong>will\u202fopen its new restaurant at\u202f12612 Capital Boulevard today,\u00a0<strong>Friday, June 18<\/strong>.\u00a0To celebrate, the restaurant will award free coffee for a year to the first\u202f50\u202fguests in the drive-thru at\u00a06\u00a0a.m.\u202fIn addition, guests can enjoy appearances by\u00a0a\u00a0Dunkin\u2019 mascot\u202fand swag\u202fgiveaways. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dunkindonuts.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit Dunkin&#8217; here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Looking for all the outdoor dining options in Downtown Raleigh? And so it is in the case of <strong>Brandwein&#8217;s Bagels<\/strong> in Chapel Hill as they announced this week that they are expanding their existing shop at 505 W. Rosemary to also include the former <strong>Bread &amp; Butter Bakery<\/strong> space next door and the huge parking lot that comes with it. Restaurateur <strong>Greg Lewis<\/strong> announced via Facebook that his much-anticipated steakhouse, <strong>The Sycamore at Chatham Mills<\/strong>, will open next Thursday, <strong>June 24<\/strong> when they will begin serving dinner Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. They are not accepting reservations at this time, but will soon. <strong>The Sycamore<\/strong> is in the space formerly occupied by <strong>The Pickle Jar Cafe<\/strong> and before that, <strong>Oakleaf<\/strong>. <strong>Lewis<\/strong> also operates <strong>Forest Hall at Chatham Mills<\/strong>, an event venue, as well as his catering business, <strong>39 West Catering<\/strong>, operating out of a newly renovated space also at <strong>Chatham Mills<\/strong>. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/TheSycamoreNC\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Follow their progress on Facebook here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Also in Chapel Hill, forgot to include in last week\u2019s update, but noticed a sign for <strong>Flying Biscuit Cafe<\/strong> up at the spot between <strong>BarTaco <\/strong>and <strong>Hawkers <\/strong>at <strong>University Place<\/strong> in Chapel Hill. This will be the 3rd Triangle-area location for the franchise.\u00a0<strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/flyingbiscuit.com\/locations-2\/chapel-hill\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Website here<\/span><\/a><\/strong> indicates that will open this summer. The <strong>Chen<\/strong> family owned and operated this business since 2011, having run <strong>Oriental Garden<\/strong> for 20 years before that.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Food Trucks\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Our friends over at <strong>RalToday<\/strong> shared the news that <strong>Waves Shave Ice<\/strong> is bringing a taste of Hawaii to Holly Springs \u2014 the food truck plans to <strong>open in July<\/strong> according to <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/wavesshaveice\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">their Instagram page<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. This weekend\u2019s focus will be <strong>City Market<\/strong>.
