Fully vaccinated guests receive a button allowing future re-entry, and so far over 1,500 buttons have been handed out. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" =\"https:\/\/www.playersretreat.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Check out the PR here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Wake County Restaurant News<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>And following on that great news, more and more restaurants are resuming &#8220;normal&#8221; operations. And so it is so with <strong>Sweet Tea and Cornbread Cafe<\/strong>, in the <strong>NC Museum of History<\/strong>, is reopening Saturday. It&#8217;s owned and ran by <strong>Tonya Council<\/strong>, granddaughter of <strong>Mama Dip<\/strong> (of <strong>Mama Dip&#8217;s<\/strong> fame in Chapel Hill). I also was in downtown this week as tables and chairs (which had been in storage) were being returned to <strong>Gravy<\/strong> and <strong>Sitti <\/strong>in downtown Raleigh as they inch closer and closer to pre-pandemic occupancy. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" =\"https:\/\/www.ncmuseumofhistory.org\/sweet-tea-and-cornbread\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit Sweet Tea here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" =\"https:\/\/www.gravyraleigh.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Gravy here<\/span><\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" =\"https:\/\/www.sitti-raleigh.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Sitti here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Over in Cary, the <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> shared that <strong>Cotton House Craft Brewers<\/strong> will open <strong>Triangle Beer Co.<\/strong> at 320 E. Durham Road in the former <strong>Jordan Lake Brewing<\/strong> facility TOMORROW, <strong>June 26<\/strong>. They will have 16 taps with a broad range of current and new beers. It\u2019s situated less than a mile from the original taphouse, <strong>Cotton House<\/strong>, at 307 S. Academy St. The new space will also feature the company\u2019s newly launched <strong>Craft Concepts @ TBC<\/strong>, a permanent mobile food kitchen and catering service that will serve the Triangle area. <strong><a =\"https:\/\/trianglebeer.co\/\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit their website here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Ashton Mae Smith<\/strong> shared in her weekly update last week that the much-anticipated <strong>(ish) delicatessen<\/strong> is doing pop-up events as they inch closer to their opening. No exact date yet on an opening&#8230;just soon(ish). <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" =\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/ish_delicatessen\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Keep up with updates on Instagram<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.  <\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Also in Cary, <strong>Mike DePersia<\/strong> with <strong>DePersia &amp; Associates <\/strong>shared that <strong>Coffee &amp; Crepes<\/strong>, which has been a staple in the <strong>Crossroads shopping center<\/strong> in Cary for nearly twenty years (don\u2019t worry it&#8217;s not going anywhere), has been sold. <strong>Terri <\/strong>and <strong>Andres Pastrana<\/strong> have sold the coffee shop to <strong>Nichole Hustava<\/strong> and <strong>Tim Nigh<\/strong> who will continue to operate business as usual for the time being with a planned remodel later this year. <strong>Terri <\/strong>and <strong>Andres<\/strong> will continue to operate their \u201cchef services\u201d in and around Wake County. Franklin St. in Chapel Hill, will move the restaurant to a newly renovated building at 104 N. Graham St. in the emerging area at the Chapel Hill-Carrboro border area called <strong>Midway<\/strong>. The plan is for <strong>Big Belly Que<\/strong> to be open at the new, larger location by September, with indoor and outdoor seating options. Congrats to siblings <strong>Garret Fleming<\/strong> and <strong>Eleanor Lacy<\/strong>! <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" =\"https:\/\/www.bigbellyque.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit them here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Chapel Hill Carrboro Foodies<\/strong> founder <strong>Carrie Brogren<\/strong> shared the news this week that there is a new spot coming to Pittsboro&#8230;.<strong>The Beagle<\/strong>, a bar which will feature cocktails and small plates. It is brought to us by the owners of <strong>Oakleaf<\/strong> and they are hoping to open sometime in July. It will be in the spot where <strong>Blue Dot Coffee <\/strong>was (53 Hillsboro Street). Main St. in downtown Durham. <strong>Mason<\/strong> plans to open the spot in mid-July after having the idea for it for about 7 years. This weekend\u2019s focus will be <strong>Fayetteville Street<\/strong>.
