Franchise owners <strong>Allison Engle<\/strong> and <strong>Amanda Wolsky<\/strong> are native Philadelphians with a passion for the gourmet sandwiches. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.primohoagies.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Start getting familiar with them here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Wake County Restaurant News<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>On the Peace Street side of downtown, <strong>Ashton Mae Smith<\/strong> noted in her weekly email the <strong>News &amp; Observer&#8217;s<\/strong> report that Charlotte&#8217;s <strong>Midwood Smokehouse Bar &amp; BBQ<\/strong> is heading east to Raleigh and will open a location in the <strong>Smoky Hollow <\/strong>development (think Publix). <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/midwoodsmokehouse.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Check out Midwood Smokehouse here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Saw on the <strong>Downtown Raleigh Alliance<\/strong> page that the downtown location of <strong>Happy + Hale<\/strong> reopened yesterday with weekday, lunch hours (10 a.m. &#8211; 3 p.m.) Monday thru Friday. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.happyandhale.com\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Check them out here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Also near downtown, <strong>RalToday<\/strong> posted on Twitter that a <strong>Starbucks<\/strong> is coming to the former <strong>SmallCakes<\/strong> location near the intersection of Hillsborough and Pogue streets (2526 Hillsborough Street). No word on a timeline (just a banner hanging up at this point). <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Down in Knightdale, <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/raleighconvergence.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Raleigh Convergence<\/span><\/a><\/strong> shared the first two named tenants at <strong>Craften Food Hall, <\/strong>a new concept coming to Knightdale. <strong>Finca Burger<\/strong>, traditional burgers\u00a0with\u00a0Venezuelan inspiration, and <strong>Poblanos Tacos<\/strong>. Expect <strong>Craften<\/strong> to open later this fall at 706 Money Court in Knightdale. This marks their second location in Durham (original Durham location is on Ninth Street) where they are located next to O2 Fitness and University Hill Apartments. They also have two locations in Raleigh (downtown Raleigh and <strong>North Hills<\/strong>). <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.happyandhale.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit them here for hours and all the details<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A little bit of a pivot over in Hillsborough in Orange County as <strong>The House at Gatewood<\/strong> announced this week that they will transition into a full-time event venue for parties and special events.\u00a0But don&#8217;t worry too much if this has become one of your favorite dining destinations, they will also be hosting regular <strong>Supper Club<\/strong> dinners, such as wine dinners with Tyler, themed parties, and live music.
