Main Street: the first, <strong>Rubies on Five Points<\/strong>, will be a live music, bar, and event space in the second story of the location. The second business, <strong>Remedy Room<\/strong>, a &#8220;classic neighborhood bar&#8221; with drinks and a bar menu with shared plates, will occupy the first story. They plan to open <strong>Rubies on Five Points<\/strong> in mid-October, with <strong>Remedy Room<\/strong> to follow in late 2021. Congrats to <strong>Shawn Stokes<\/strong>, <strong>Rob Montemayor<\/strong> and <strong>Anthony Kofler<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Wake County Restaurant News<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>North HIlls<\/strong> announced this week that <strong>CowBar<\/strong> will join <strong>North Hills<\/strong> in the fall of 2021, moving into the former <strong>B.GOOD<\/strong> location in the <strong>Park District<\/strong>. While <strong>CowBar<\/strong> already has a presence in the Raleigh community at <strong>Morgan Street Food Hall<\/strong>, the <strong>North Hills<\/strong> location will feature various new menu items \u2013 including a vegan burger, Italian beef sandwich, beer floats, and boozy milkshakes. The new location will also offer a full-service bar. <strong>CowBar<\/strong> is just one of the many Raleigh restaurants that are a part of <strong>Niall Hanley\u2019s Hibernian Hospitality Group<\/strong>. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cowbarburger.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out here<\/a><\/strong>. <\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A quick update. <strong>BB&#8217;s Crispy Chicke<\/strong>n posted this week that their mid-town Raleigh location (out in front of Wegman&#8217;s on Wake Forest Road) is putting on the final touches and looking to open in early October. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/BBsCrispyChicken\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Follow along on Facebook for updates here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. Look for the Durham location to open in November and the Cary location in December. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Blogger <strong>EatRaleigh<\/strong> shared that signage has gone up for <strong>Crave Hot Dogs and BBQ<\/strong> at the former <strong>Zoe&#8217;s Kitchen<\/strong> spot in the <strong>Shops at Oberlin Court<\/strong> on Oberlin Road. No word on an open date. The chain has North Carolina locations in Wilmington and Concord (with a few more on the way). The site also indicated that Raleigh would get a food truck as well. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/iwantcrave.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Get familiar with them here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> reported this week that <strong>Zenith Raleigh<\/strong> is set to open at 226 Fayetteville St. in early October, replacing <strong>Coglin&#8217;s<\/strong>, which shut down at the end of 2020. <strong>Zenith<\/strong> will feature throwback tunes and d\u00e9cor, similar to <strong>Coglin&#8217;s<\/strong>, but won&#8217;t be limited to 1980s and &#8217;90s. The fast\/casual concept is serving up handcrafted burgers, pizzas, sides and homegrown beer from their very own <strong>Mash House Brewing Company<\/strong>. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/wcccafebytribeca\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Find them on Facebook here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Also in Morrisville, reader<strong> Christy Tucker <\/strong>shared that <strong>Flying Mayan<\/strong> has a new sign up at the former <strong>Famous Toastery<\/strong> location on Chapel Hill Road in Morrisville (9918 Chapel Hill Rd). That&#8217;s next to the <strong>Jasmin and Olivz<\/strong>, near <strong>Guacasa<\/strong>. No word on an open date yet. Their original location in on Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/flyingmayan.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit them here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Down in the Quay, reader J<strong>ason Ora Wunsch<\/strong> shared that the <strong>Cleveland Draft House<\/strong> is shooting to open on <strong>September 27th <\/strong>at 1420 East Broad Street (the old <strong>Golden Corral<\/strong> building). They currently have locations in Clayton and Garner and the menu in Fuquay-Varina will mirror the menu of the other locations. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.clevelanddrafthouse.com\/fuquay-varina\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">You can visit them here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>This is kind of fun. <strong>Visit Raleigh<\/strong> put together a list of restaurant \u201cIcons and Institutions\u201d in and around Raleigh\/Wake County. The location at <strong>East 54<\/strong> closed their doors earlier this week (thanks to a post from <strong>Chapel Hill Carrboro Foodies<\/strong> group founder <strong>Carrie Brogren<\/strong>) as they move into a new concept and space. However, they did leave the door open for a possible new location and\/or a food truck. Their <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Smokeys-BBQ-Shack-108717235841567\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">social media account is still live here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>And just south of Smithfield, the <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> reported that <strong>Holt Lake Bar-B-Que &amp; Seafood<\/strong> is closing, ending a 42-year run (and surviving two fires).
