Look for the Durham location to open in November and the Cary location in December.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Wake County Restaurant News<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>This week saw <strong>Pure Vegan Cafe<\/strong> (with their original location in Cary) held their grand opening for their Raleigh location at 8369 Creedmoor Road. They are a 100% vegan cafe with cold pressed juices, smoothies and smoothie bowls. Congrats to owner <strong>Veena Birajadar<\/strong>. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.purevegancafe.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit them here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Also in Raleigh, another update. A few months back we shared that the folks behind <strong>RallyPoint Sport Grill<\/strong> in Cary had taken over the <strong>Honest Abe\u2019s<\/strong> space in <strong>Wade Park<\/strong> (adjacent to Cardinal Gibbons high school and across from the PNC Arena). They still have, but will open it as a concept called<strong> Bru\u2019s Public House<\/strong>. Look for them to open later this month, or in early October (like everyone else, they are patiently waiting on backordered items\u2026). <span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bruspublichouse.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Go ahead and get familiar with them here<\/a><\/strong><\/span>. Thanks to reader <strong>Jeff Gimondo<\/strong> for the tip on that.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>And one final note in Raleigh, <strong>Michael DePeria<\/strong> of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rdubrokers.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">DePersia &amp; Associates<\/span><\/a><\/strong> shared that <strong>NY Bagel<\/strong> on Glenwood South was sold to <strong>Matt Kenner<\/strong> who plans on opening a wine bar\/charcuterie spot after a remodel (he is simultaneously leasing the vacant salon next door as well to double his size and increase his patio space). This is the space between <strong>Sushi Blues<\/strong> and <strong>The Hibernian Irish Pub<\/strong>. Stay tuned for additional details as we gather them.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In Cary, <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> shared that <strong>Vicious Fishes Brewery<\/strong> will be opening their fourth location at 510 Old Apex Rd. in downtown Cary (at the West Chatham Street traffic circle). The new brewery and taproom is slated to open in&nbsp;Spring 2022 where you can expect a beer garden as well as an expansive outdoor area. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.viciousfishes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Check out Vicious here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>And if that is not enough libations for you, reader <strong>David Amann<\/strong> shared that <strong>Bottle Theory Craft Beer and Wine <\/strong>held their grand opening last weekend at 3675 Green Level West Road in Apex. Just off the White Oak Creek Greenway and near Starpath Dance Studio, the Goddard School, and Triangle Family Dentistry. 24 beer taps (+ 4 non-alcohol) and an extensive wine list await you. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/apexbottletheory.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Check them out here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Down in the Quay, we got an update from the popular blog\/Facebook page <strong>\u201cToday in the Quay\u201d<\/strong> that the <strong>Cleveland Draft House<\/strong> is now shooting to open on <strong>October 1 <\/strong>(that\u2019s next Friday!) at 1420 East Broad Street (the old <strong>Golden Corral<\/strong> building). They currently have locations in Clayton and Garner and the menu in Fuquay-Varina will mirror the menu of the other locations. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.clevelanddrafthouse.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">You can visit them here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>This is kind of fun. <strong>Visit Raleigh<\/strong> put together a list of restaurant \u201cIcons and Institutions\u201d in and around Raleigh\/Wake County. This second location will be a little bit further into Chatham County in the massive <strong>Chatham Park<\/strong> development in Pittsboro. Keep up with any announcements <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/oyacantina\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">on their Instagram account here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Chapel Hill Magazine<\/strong> and<strong> Indy Week<\/strong> both shared the news this week that <strong>Paula de Pano<\/strong> will be leaving her post as beverage and service director\/ advanced sommelier at <strong>Fearrington Village<\/strong> to open <strong>Rocks + Acid <\/strong>wine shop and bar in Chapel Hill\u2019s <strong>Southern Village<\/strong> (at 712 Market Street in the former Medlin-Davis dry cleaner space) in early spring of 2022. In the middle of the shop will be a communal table for tastings, where she hopes to continue teaching wine classes twice a month. They will also offer cheese, charcuterie, caviar and a wine supper club to match sellers with wine aficionados.
