They will open on <strong>January 31st<\/strong> on Hillsborough Street across from Meredith College in the former <strong>Burger King\/Hieu Bowl Vietnamese Kitchen<\/strong> spot (3701 Hillsborough St.)! This will be their third location counting their trucks over on Six Forks Road and their sports bar in <strong>Bedford<\/strong> (space formerly occupied by the <strong>Public House<\/strong>) at 1540 Dunn Road. And remember, it is better to eat some good tacos before going to the gym. See you in line on <strong>January 31st<\/strong>! In the meantime, <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/gym-tacos.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">visit Gym Tacos here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Wake County Restaurant News<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>We first told you about <strong>Bright Spot Donuts<\/strong> back in July, 2021, but the <strong>Triangle Business Journal <\/strong>provided an update this week and a possible opening date. As you&#8217;ll remember, <strong>Bright Spot<\/strong> is another venture of the teams from <strong>Boulted Bread<\/strong>, <strong>Jubala Coffee<\/strong>, and <strong>Benchwarmers Bagels<\/strong>. It is located in the <strong>Five Points <\/strong>area at 1501 Sunrise Avenue in a completely renovated building (<strong>The Junction at Five Points<\/strong>). It is possible they will be open before March according to the article. Let&#8217;s just say, we can&#8217;t wait! Congrats to the ownership team of <strong>Sam Kirkpatrick<\/strong>, <strong>Josh Bellamy<\/strong>, <strong>Andrew Cash<\/strong>, <strong>John Knox<\/strong> and <strong>Sarah Millsaps<\/strong> &#8211; that is a tremendous amount of talent! <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/brightspotdonuts\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Best to follow them on Instagram for updates and announcements<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Up at <strong>Triangle Town Center<\/strong>, blogger <strong>EatRaleigh<\/strong> shared that <strong>Lechon Latin BBQ Joint <\/strong>is now in soft open mode. Their menu focuses on roasted Puerto Rican style pork dishes. They are located at 5959 Triangle Town Blvd. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/lechonlatinbbq\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit them on Instagram here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Also in Raleigh, reader <strong>Patrick Fish<\/strong> notified us that the newest location of <strong>Wingstop<\/strong> just opened at 8205 Fayetteville Road (401 heading towards Fuquay-Varina). <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wingstop.com\/location\/wingstop-2043-raleigh-nc-27603\/menu\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit them here<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>This isn&#8217;t Wake County (actually Harnett County) but close enough&#8230;we got word from reader <strong>Neal Zipser <\/strong>that <strong>Napper Tandy&#8217;s Irish Bar<\/strong> has opened (they opened on January 17) in Angier at 27 S. Broad Street East. It is locally owned and operated by <strong>Robert Stapleton<\/strong> and <strong>Danny Babb<\/strong>. Therefore, we will not see a reopening of <strong>Rockwood Dairy Bar<\/strong>, but rather she will do occasional popups in Durham when she is back in the area. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/rockwooddairybar\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Check out their Facebook postings here<\/span><\/a><\/strong> to get the full skinny.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Another update on the <strong>Mr. Fries Man<\/strong> coming to Durham that we first reported on back in July, 2021. They are scheduled to have their grand opening this <strong>Saturday, January 22 at 11:00 a.m.<\/strong> at their location at 1105 W. Main Street in the <strong>Bartlett condo building<\/strong>. The concept began in the Los Angeles market, and now has nearly 20 locations across the United States. This will be the first location in North Carolina. But the better news is that here was a <strong>Carriage House Coffee <\/strong>stand\/mobile unit parked outside. Not sure if they plan on moving in permanently, but that seems to be where they are hanging out these days.
