Located in Durham (506 Ramsuer Street), the menu offers twists on Asian inspired street food such as Blistered Miso Shishitos with furikake aioli and sesame seeds, Pork Buns with adobo and pickled vegetables, Uni Udon with mussels, sweet sake and scallions, and Grilled Chicken with kimchi vinaigrette. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.krillrestaurant.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Check it out here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. (And see below in the Durham section for his NEXT concept&#8230;ain&#8217;t no slowing down!)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Wake County Restaurant News<\/mark><\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> shared that the much anticipated <strong>Soul Taco<\/strong> has opened on Morgan Street (927 West Morgan St.), just down from <strong>Irregardless Cafe<\/strong>. The concept is the brainchild of business partners <strong>Trey Owens<\/strong>, <strong>Ari Augenbaum<\/strong> and <strong>Nar Hovnanian<\/strong> and this is their first location outside of Richmond (they have two locations there). <strong>Soul Taco<\/strong> is a blend of Southern \u201csoul\u201d food and Latin American fare. No freezers nor microwaves will be found. Following this will be their second concept which will open next door to <strong>Soul Taco<\/strong>. <strong>JewFro<\/strong> is a blend of Jewish and African cuisine, and will offer deli items during the day and additional options at night. Their sixth Triangle-area location will be at 913 Spring Forest Road (near the intersection with Fall of the Neuse Road). Stop by on Monday and check them out. They have locations in Melbourne, Florida and Charlotte. It will be located inside of the <strong>Westin Hotel<\/strong> just 10 minutes east of RDU and only 5 minutes from <strong>Briar Creek Commons<\/strong>. They are looking to open this fall. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/estampagaucha.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Start getting familiar with them here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The folks over at <strong>RalToday<\/strong> shared that after four years of planning and development, Raleigh\u2019s first cidery is set to open in early August. <strong>East Bower Cider Co.<\/strong>, located inside the new <strong>East End Market<\/strong> at 2020 Progress Ct., will be the first of its kind in Raleigh. Keep up with their progress and announcements <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/eastbowerciderco\/\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">on Instagram here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Just beyond NC State&#8217;s Centennial Campus, at the intersection of Gorman Street and Avent Ferry Road in the Avent Ferry Shopping Center, <strong>Hardee&#8217;s<\/strong> reopened this week after being closed for five months for repairs from a fire, just in time for the return of students. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/bneinc.com\/brands\/hardees\/\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit Hardee&#8217;s here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Reader <strong>Vanessa Guirguis<\/strong> brought it to our attention that <strong>Papi&#8217;s Cuban Cafe<\/strong>, a mobile unit located at 3300 Ten Ten Rd. has had to close temporarily. Apparently the unit was in an accident and will need some repairs. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100063028670323\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Follow them here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong> to see when they will be operational again. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Another one to keep an eye on. Several readers brought it to our attention that <strong>Brasa Brazilian Steakhouse<\/strong> in <strong>Brier Creek<\/strong> has temporarily closed. The sign on the door indicates they are closed for renovations. We will keep an eye on it and pass along any updates we receive. Might be best to follow <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/brasasteakhouse\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">their Facebook page<\/mark><\/a><\/strong> for updates as they become available. Williams Street. The <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> shared the news that on the heels of opening <strong>Krill<\/strong> (see above), also in downtown Durham, <strong>Giorgios Bakatsias<\/strong> is bringing a new concept, <strong>Niko<\/strong>, with a nostalgic twist, to <strong>Brightleaf Square<\/strong> in 2023. <strong>Bakatsias<\/strong> previously had a restaurant,<strong> Nikos Greek Tavern<\/strong>, in <strong>Brightleaf Square<\/strong> until 2011. The new concept will bring back some of that location\u2019s best dishes, as well as featuring dishes from Israel, Turkey and Lebanon. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.giorgiosgroup.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit his hospitality group here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Got word this week that next <strong>Monday, August 1<\/strong> will see the opening of the second location of Chatham County&#8217;s <strong>Breakaway Cafe<\/strong>. This location will be at 410 N.
