The new restaurant will have the same name as the original with a similar menu featuring classic American dishes. Look for them to open this winter. Congrats to owners <strong>Jenessa Mitchell<\/strong> and <strong>Todd Henderson<\/strong>, as well as executive chef <strong>Matthew Scofield<\/strong>. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/parksideraleigh.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit Parkside here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Wake County Restaurant News<\/mark><\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Last week we shared the first tenant announcement for Raleigh&#8217;s<strong> Iron Works<\/strong> development (located at 2200 Atlantic Ave.) &#8211; <strong>Jaguar Bolera<\/strong>, a new \u201ceatertainment\u201d concept opening the second half of 2023. This week, two additional food tenants were announced. They are Durham favorites <strong>Eastcut Sandwich Bar<\/strong> and <strong>Ponysaurus Brewing Co.<\/strong> Both are expected to open in spring 2023. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.raleighironworks.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Follow along with their progress here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It is Friday, which means lunch at <strong>Irregardless Cafe<\/strong>, right? Well, starting today at least. The popular cafe is now (beginning today) serving<strong> <\/strong>lunch on Fridays from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The lunch menu will focus on salads and sandwiches like a vegan cheese and apricot melt and BBQ maitake sandwich. Thanks to <strong>RalToday<\/strong> for bringing this to our attention. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irregardless.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit Irregardless here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The <strong>Triangle Business Journal <\/strong>reported this week that <strong>Uncle Jessie\u2019s Honkytonk and Saloon<\/strong>, a new country-themed bar, is set to open in Raleigh\u2019s <strong>Five Points<\/strong> neighborhood this fall. The bar, which will be located between the <strong>Rialto Theatre<\/strong> and the <strong>Lonerider Hideout<\/strong>, will be the second in the <strong>Five Points<\/strong> area for <strong>Larry Carter<\/strong>, who also owns <strong>Lola\u2019s Beach Bar<\/strong> on Glenwood Avenue. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/unclejessieshonkeytonksaloon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit them here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>This week <strong>Guasaca South American Grill<\/strong> opened their sixth Triangle-area location, located at 913 Spring Forest Road (near the intersection with Falls of the Neuse Road). They have had lines out the door this week. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/guasaca.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><mark><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Get by this week<\/mark><\/mark><\/a><\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>And a quick update on <strong>Papi\u2019s Cuban Cafe<\/strong>, a mobile unit located at 3300 Ten Ten Rd. that closed temporarily due to an accident. Apparently they had already been building a second unit and it arrived this week. They expect to have the &#8220;new&#8221; unit up and running (pending inspections) next weekend.  <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100063028670323\" target=\"_blank\"><mark><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Keep up with their updates here<\/mark><\/mark><\/a><\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In Garner, the <strong>Johnston County Report<\/strong> shared the news that <strong>Eggs Up Grill<\/strong>, a rapidly growing breakfast, brunch and lunch concept, will open a new restaurant in the early fall at 2686 Timber Drive in <strong>Garner Town Square<\/strong>. The restaurant will be the third for franchise partners and brothers <strong>Scott<\/strong> and <strong>Rob Johnson<\/strong>, who own locations in Fuquay-Varina and Holly Springs. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/eggsupgrill.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit Eggs Up Grill here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>And down in Johnston County, the <strong>Triangle Business Journal <\/strong>provided a huge update to the much-anticipated <strong>Old North State Food Hall<\/strong>, located just off Interstate 95 in Selma and is scheduled to open this fall (possibly as early as September). Currently, list of tenants is as follows: <strong>Fuku<\/strong> \u2013 a fried chicken joint out of New York City expanding to North Carolina for the first time. The concept started as a secret sandwich at <strong>David Chang&#8217;s Momofuku Noodle Bar<\/strong>; <strong>Barley and Burger<\/strong> \u2013 the gourmet hamburger restaurant is owned by <strong>Brandon Clarke<\/strong>, <strong>Travis Ellis<\/strong>, and <strong>Etaf Rum<\/strong>. The concept has a popular location in Rocky Mount; <strong>Luna Pizza<\/strong> \u2013 pizzeria serving Neapolitan pizza, appetizers, salads and desserts. The restaurant&#8217;s flagship store is in Greenville; <strong>Curry in a Hurry<\/strong> \u2013 Indian restaurant by owner and chef <strong>Alaksha Surti <\/strong>serving curry dishes, Kati rolls, samosas and more; <strong>Aroma de Cuba <\/strong>\u2013 South Florida Cuban restaurant by owners <strong>Danny<\/strong> and <strong>Sheri Gonzalez<\/strong>. Serving Cuban sandwiches, empanadas, plantain chips and Cuban coffee; <strong>The Mac House<\/strong> \u2013 a restaurant that serves many different styles of macaroni and cheese and grilled cheese. Co-owners <strong>David<\/strong> and <strong>Tara Myklebust<\/strong> also have a location in Raleigh; <strong>My Cielo Taqueria<\/strong> \u2013 Mexican restaurant founded in New Hampshire and voted the No. 2 best tacos in that state. <strong>Carmen<\/strong> and <strong>Luis Garcia<\/strong> are the owners, and this will be the concept&#8217;s second location; <strong>Cock A Doodle Moo<\/strong> \u2013 BBQ restaurant owned by locals <strong>Allison Hensgen<\/strong> and <strong>Justus Wollbrinck<\/strong>, which also operate a popular food truck in the Triangle; <strong>Bean and Bubble<\/strong> \u2013 a concept offering coffee and Asian menu items such as Poke bowls and bubble tea. Owned by <strong>Sophia Woo<\/strong> and <strong>Nathan Lambdin<\/strong>, who also run <strong>Mofu Shoppe<\/strong> and <strong>Pho Nomenal Dumplings<\/strong> in the Triangle; <strong>Butter Cream<\/strong> \u2013 offering sweet treats like ice cream and cookies. The <strong>Pure Vegan Cafe<\/strong> took over the space formerly occupied by <strong>The Northern Spy<\/strong>.
