Betski&#8217;s<\/strong>, formerly at <strong>Seaboard Station<\/strong>. They have relocated and opened serving up their casual East and Central European fare and fine beverages at <strong>Highpark Village<\/strong> in the Five Points neighborhood (1916 Bernard St, Raleigh), right next to <strong>Seaboard Wine<\/strong> and <strong>Taste<\/strong>. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/jbetskis.getbento.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Reacquaint yourself with them here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. Thanks to reader <strong>Betty Diegel<\/strong> for bringing this to our attention. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Wake County Restaurant News<\/mark><\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Raleigh Magazine<\/strong> shared the news that <strong>Jason Howard\u2019s<\/strong> <strong>The Rainbow Luncheonette <\/strong>opened this past Tuesday at 911 N West St. The six-days-a-week breakfast, lunch and dinner counter will be dishing up elevated greasy spoon plates in what he dubs a really cool-looking, colorful (hence rainbow floor) Waffle House on steroids. Couple other noteworthy items: you&#8217;ll be able to get a mixed drink with your breakfast&#8230;and on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the diner will be open from 6 to 10pm with just one thing on the menu: a handcut New York 12-ounce strip steak.  <strong>Howard<\/strong> also brought us <strong>The Cardinal<\/strong> and <strong>The Atlantic Lounge<\/strong>, among others. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/instagram.com\/therainbowluncheonette\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Check them out on Instagram here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>And just over at <strong>Smoky Hollow<\/strong> on Peace Street, the <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> shared the news that <strong>J. Lights<\/strong>, a second location from local entrepreneur <strong>Jared Burton<\/strong>, opened this past weekend. <strong>J. Lights<\/strong> is the sister concept to <strong>J. Lights Market &amp; Caf\u00e9<\/strong> in Durham\u2019s <strong>Golden Belt Campus<\/strong>. The <strong>Smoky Hollow<\/strong> location will serve coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner and alcoholic drinks from its corner location. Their grand opening is today (Nov. 11). Visit them, and all the tenants (now and on the way), <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/smokyhollowraleigh.com\/directory\/j-lights\/\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>And after much anticipation, <strong>The BBQ Lab<\/strong> at <strong>North Hills<\/strong> officially opened this past Wednesday. Due to staffing shortages, the barbecue spot will be open Wednesday-Sunday from 11 a.m. until food runs out. And of note, burnt ends<strong> <\/strong>will be available Wednesdays and Fridays. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/TheBBQLabs\/\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Best to follow along on Facebook<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>This brings up a lot of childhood memories. <strong>WRAL<\/strong> shared the news this week that the newly remodeled <strong>Chuck E. Cheese<\/strong> in Raleigh is holding a grand re-opening celebration this week. And the space they are leaving? <strong>Chapelboro<\/strong> broke the news this week that <strong>Mike Benson<\/strong>, the owner of <strong>Franklin Motors Beer Garden<\/strong> and a local artist, will start a new project in the space once <strong>Beer Study<\/strong> is fully moved. It is going to be called <strong>Lapin Bleu<\/strong> and it\u2019s going to be a bar and an [art] gallery.
