Impress your co-workers at the water cooler.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark><strong><mark><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Featured Restaurant News<\/mark><\/mark><\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Eater Carolinas <\/strong>shared the news that Raleigh is going big time. <strong>Eric Rivera<\/strong>, one of Seattle\u2019s most unusual chefs, is bringing two concepts to Raleigh, housed in the same building. <strong>Sapo<\/strong> will be a private dining room with elaborate tasting menus. The seven to 10 course experience will be available only through purchasing a ticket ahead of time. The other concept, <strong>Coqui<\/strong>, will be modeled after an Izakaya (a Japanese-stye bar with small dishes and drinks) but with a Puerto Rican flair. The dining room will be filled with loud music and the food will feature \u201cexploding flavors.\u201d <strong>Rivera&#8217;s<\/strong> restaurant called <strong>Addo<\/strong>, earned him the title of Seattle\u2019s 2018 Chef of the Year from food magazine <strong>Eater<\/strong>. <strong>Rivera<\/strong> will &#8220;introduce&#8221; his style at private dinners in Raleigh March 1 &#8211; April 30, 2023. The larger space features open air seating as well as a tasting bar. Perhaps due to space limitation, perhaps taking a page out of what was learned during the pandemic, this location is drive-thru only. Congrats to owner\/operator <strong>Jade Costen<\/strong>. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.chick-fil-a.com\/locations\/nc\/midtown-corner\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit this location here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Over in Apex, <strong>Mike DePersia<\/strong> of <strong>DePersia &amp; Associates<\/strong>, shared that <strong>Mezcalito Grill &amp; Tequila Bar<\/strong> will be moving into the spot formerly occupied by <strong>Big Mike&#8217;s BBQ<\/strong>. No word on an open date. They also have locations in Clayton and Durham here in the Triangle. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/mezcalitogrill.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Get familiar with them here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>David McCreary<\/strong> shared with us that a new location of <strong>Crumbl Cookies<\/strong> opens TODAY (Friday, Nov. 18), at 145 Grand Hill Place in <strong>Holly Springs Towne Center<\/strong> (near Target next to Oragetheory Fitness). <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/crumblcookies.comhttps:\/\/crumblcookies.com\/nchollysprings\/nchollysprings\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit them here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>And the home (some say the birthplace) of the original Buffalo wings straight out of Buffalo, New York is coming to Raleigh sometime next year. Local media shared the news that <strong>Anchor Bar <\/strong>announced six new franchise locations, including Raleigh, to open in 2023. A location hasn&#8217;t been identified yet, but negotiations are underway. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/anchorbar.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Start getting familiar with Anchor here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Durham, Orange &amp; Chatham Restaurant News<\/mark><\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Nick Singh<\/strong> and <strong>Buddy Maynard<\/strong>, are excited to announce the creation of <strong>The Waiting Room<\/strong>, a crafted cocktail and small plates concept slated to open this December. <strong>The Waiting Room<\/strong> is an inclusive space inspired by <strong>Singh <\/strong>and <strong>Maynard\u2019s <\/strong>deep understanding and love for community. This relaxing space will be a great place to unwind or visit while waiting for a table at an incredible local restaurant.
