At this point they are just waiting on some final inspections. Follow them <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/duckdonuts.CaryNC\" target=\"_blank\" shape=\"rect\">on their Facebook page<\/a><\/span><\/strong> where they will announce their official opening day once it is known.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>News &amp; Observer<\/strong> reported this week that <strong>Steve Adams<\/strong>, owner of <strong>Peak City Grill<\/strong> in Apex, has teamed up with <strong>Franz Propst<\/strong>, longtime chef at the restaurant, to open <strong>The Blistered Pig Smokehouse<\/strong> just down the street in the historic <strong>Tobacco &amp; Mule Exchange Building<\/strong> (225 N. Salem Street). Previously <strong>Robinson<\/strong> trained and gained experience at <strong>The Ritz-Carlton<\/strong> up and down the Eastern seaboard. But note that <strong>Pop&#8217;s Backdoor South<\/strong>, the pizzeria in <strong>Hope Valley Square<\/strong>, remains open.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Food Trucks\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>The food truck website <strong>Mobile Cuisine<\/strong> is holding a national contest to identify America&#8217;s best dessert food truck. In the running is our very own <strong>Not Just Icing<\/strong>. Let&#8217;s show them our support! Currently, they are just a few hundred votes out of first place.
