The menu will feature a blend of Italian and Croatian dishes centered around \u201cAdriatic Cuisine.\u201d This concept joins <strong>Crawford&#8217;s<\/strong> growing portfolio of establishments &#8211; <strong>Crawford and Son<\/strong>, <strong>Jolie<\/strong>, <strong>Crawford Cookshop<\/strong> in Clayton, as well as the planned <strong>Crawford Brothers Steakhouse<\/strong> in <strong>Fenton<\/strong> and <strong>Crawford\u2019s Genuine<\/strong> at Raleigh-Durham International Airport. The menu will include both raw and cooked seafood options, handmade pasta, risotto and dishes like a Croatian lamb peka. The space itself will be <strong>Crawford&#8217;s<\/strong> largest, featuring an open kitchen, live fire hearth, outdoor dining and a large bar. Look for it to open in 2023. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/brodetorestaurant\/\" target=\"_blank\">Best to follow along on Instagram for updates and announcements<\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Wake County Restaurant News<\/mark><\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>North Hills <\/strong>will soon be home to <strong>Tamasha<\/strong>, an upscale, modern Indian restaurant, opening in the <strong>Park District of North Hills<\/strong>. Located on the ground floor of the new Advance Auto Parts Tower, the restaurant is expected to open in 2023. They describe their concept as a quirky, chic, modern Indian restaurant, where guests will enjoy a sensory experience through the finest modern Indian cuisine, with a high energy ambiance. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/visitnorthhills.com\/tamasha-a-modern-indian-cuisine-to-open-in-north-hills\/\" target=\"_blank\">Learn more about it here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This is the month! We are anticipating the opening of the Glenwood South&#8217;s newest cocktail bar, <strong>Cuya<\/strong>, being brought to us (and upstairs from) the team at <strong>The Cortez Seafood + Cocktail<\/strong>. The name comes from Maracuya, which is Spanish for passion fruit. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/cuyaraleigh\/\" target=\"_blank\">Best to follow them on Instagram here<\/a><\/strong> where they will announce the official opening date once they have it. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A new wine and beer retail shop has opened in north Raleigh. <strong>Local 919 Craft Beer + Fine Wine<\/strong> opened to the public on Sept. 15th inside the <strong>Bedford Village<\/strong> off Falls of Neuse and Dunn roads in North Raleigh in the space previously occupied by <strong>Triangle Wine Company \u2013 Raleigh<\/strong>. The official grand opening celebration will take place on <strong>Saturday, Dec. 10<\/strong>, between 2 pm and 7 pm, with wine and beer tastings, giveaways, and more. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/980493960020752\/?ref=newsfeed\" target=\"_blank\">Visit their events page on Facebook here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Also in North Raleigh, <strong>Everbowl<\/strong>, a California franchise serving up acai bowls and smoothies, is moving into the former <strong>Planet Smoothie<\/strong> space in <strong>Sutton Square<\/strong> by Fresh Market. This will be their first NC location. No word yet on an open date. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.everbowl.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Start getting familiar with them here<\/a><\/strong>. Reader <strong>Megan Hershey<\/strong> shared with us that she saw a &#8220;coming soon&#8221; sign for a place in Apex called <strong>Neat &amp; Sweet<\/strong> which appears to be a dessert and cocktail lounge. The signage also indicated that it is affiliated with the folks behind <strong>Scratch<\/strong> and will open this winter. Exciting! Stay tuned (we couldn&#8217;t find an online presence). <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Also in Apex, we got word this week that <strong>Tandoori Trail<\/strong> has opened in <strong>Beaver Creek Crossings<\/strong> (at 2017 Creekside Landing Drive) offering a wide variety of Northern Frontier and Awadhi dishes by the inventors of Butter Chicken and Tandoori Chicken! <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/tandooritrailapex\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Check them out on Facebook here<\/strong><\/a>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>And if that is not enough Apex news for you, <strong>David McCreary<\/strong> passed along the information that <strong>Crumb &amp; Cream Bakery<\/strong> has opened in the former <strong>Utica Bakery<\/strong> location (430 Upchurch Street). They currently employ over 40 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). If you are not already familiar with them, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/321coffee.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">get to know them here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> informed us that <strong>ZincHouse Winery &amp; Brewery<\/strong>, located on 80+ acres in Durham near the Falls Village Golf Course, is now open. The winery offers tastings and is available for corporate events and weddings. Muscadine grapes are grown on site, which will eventually be used to produce in-house wine. Churton Street (in the space formerly occupied by the <strong>Bandido Mexican Caf\u00e9 &amp; Cantina<\/strong> at the corner of Churton and Margaret Lane). Their other location (which was originally in Hillsborough) is in Mebane. They noted that owner and operator <strong>Crystal Bish<\/strong> is stepping away from the business. Any future plans\/changes are unknown at this time. Stay tuned.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>RalToday<\/strong> also shared the news that after serving the community for 10 years, <strong>Nourish Raleigh<\/strong>, a healthy smoothie spot, has closed. You can still grab healthy shakes and energy bars at its sister location, <strong>Blend Raleigh<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>And <strong>Triangle Business Journal <\/strong>shared the news that <strong>Bendito<\/strong>, a Raleigh-based Puerto Rican-inspired restaurant that opened in May 2022, has closed its doors. The next dinners are 5:30 and 8 p.m. <strong>Dec. 17<\/strong>. The five-course dinner costs $75 per person with optional wine pairings for an additional $30. Vegan menu available. Seatings are limited to 20 people.
