The new concept will be located at 1911 Sego Court off Atlantic Avenue and includes production space and a tasting room. They will feature 20 taps with rotating beer, cider and seltzer options along with a limited food menu in its taproom, with the dishes provided by its neighboring tenant <strong>Scooter\u2019s Bar and Grill<\/strong>. They are eyeing the <strong>week of Dec. 19<\/strong> for their opening, though the exact date is tentative. Congrats to husband and wife duo <strong>Brian<\/strong> and <strong>Angela Johnson<\/strong> and head brewer <strong>Jack DeHarpport<\/strong>. We saw this week on Facebook that <strong>Fridas Patio<\/strong> is heading to the shopping center at 3470 Kildaire Farm Rd. tucked in the corner next to Dollar Tree and Publix. They tout themselves as a modern Mexican cuisine taking traditional Mexican dishes and infusing them with modern flavors. No word yet on an exact opening date. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/fridaspatio.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Keep up with them here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On a recent visit to <strong>Guasaca<\/strong> in Morrisville I noticed new signage at the former <strong>Flyin&#8217; Mayan<\/strong> spot  (9928 Chapel Hill Rd) for a concept called <strong>Mamacitas Modern Mexican and Cocktails<\/strong>. Thanks to reader <strong>Sam Allison<\/strong> who did some digging, it looks to be a local concept from a couple of folks in Morrisville. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Up in North Raleigh (almost Wake Forest) <strong>Triangle Explorer John Huisman<\/strong> shared that a new <strong>Raleigh Rolls<\/strong> is going in next to the <strong>Pickled Onion<\/strong> up in<strong> Wakefield<\/strong>. Looks like it is filling the old <strong>Sweet Spoons Froyo<\/strong> space. No word on an open date. This is the former <strong>Pokano and Pokego<\/strong> site. The building is the former home to <strong>Ryan\u2019s<\/strong>, <strong>Larry\u2019s<\/strong>, <strong>Mayflower<\/strong>, <strong>Fred Chasons Grandson<\/strong> and most recently <strong>Muelle de San Blas Seafood<\/strong>. We were notified that the original opening date (before New Years) has been pushed back to the latter part of January due to (unfortunately) typical supply chain delays in equipment and construction. Extensive renovations are now complete and they will swing open their doors on <strong>December 22<\/strong>&#8230;just in time for Christmas! If you are not familiar with <strong>Shack Shack<\/strong>, <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/shakeshack.com\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">do so here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. Their next Triangle-are location will open in Raleigh&#8217;s <strong>Village District<\/strong>, a couple of doors down from <strong>Cape Fear Seafood<\/strong> and <strong>Flying Biscuit<\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On a recent stroll through downtown Durham, <strong>Glenn Gillen<\/strong> noticed that <strong>La Mala<\/strong> was open (on Corcoran Street in the former <strong>B. Good<\/strong> spot &#8211; 110 N. Cocoran Street). They are a modern Mexican cocktail bar bringing you Mexican inspired cocktails and authentic street food, made fresh every day. It is brought to us by the team behind <strong>La Santa<\/strong>, a modern Mexican food concept and margarita bar at 222 Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/lamalamx.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit them both here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Erik<\/strong> gave us a quick update on a change at the<strong> Durham Food Hall<\/strong>.
