The new spot will operate as <strong>Fonda Lupita<\/strong>. Its menu will feature the beloved gorditas, tacos, quesadillas, tortas and burritos that made the original location popular. The 3,325-square-foot space will also include a bar. If you are not already familiar with them, <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fondalupita.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">do so here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Wake County Restaurant News<\/mark><\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We are in our second week of the year, and <strong>Giorgio Bakatsias<\/strong> has already opened his first new restaurant of the year &#8211; <strong>Giorgio Pizza Bar<\/strong>. Next up for <strong>Bakatsias<\/strong> will be Spanish eatery <strong>Las Ramblas<\/strong> opening next week on <strong>January 17th<\/strong>, also in <strong>North Hills<\/strong>. The tapas restaurant will pair North Carolina seafood and pork with authentic old-world Spanish ingredients under the direction of <strong>Rosewater<\/strong> executive chef<strong> Brian Jenzer<\/strong> and partner <strong>Laszlo Lukacsi<\/strong>. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lasramblasraleigh.com\/\"><mark><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit Las Ramblas here<\/mark><\/mark><\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>And if that is not enough great foodie news coming out of <strong>North Hills<\/strong>, they shared this week that they will be adding a hip New York concept to the mix. <strong>Limani Grille<\/strong>, a Mediterranean seafood restaurant focusing on traditional Greek specialties, has locations in Long Island, New York, along with Rockefeller Plaza in Manhattan; Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts; and Charlotte. The restaurant will be located in the <strong>Main District<\/strong> project, which is currently under construction where J.C. Penney used to stand. Look for a late 2023, early 2024 opening. <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/limani.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Get familiar with Limani here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Glenwood South\u2019s<\/strong> newest cocktail bar, <strong>Cuya<\/strong>, being brought to us (and upstairs from) the team at <strong>The Cortez Seafood + Cocktail<\/strong>, has opened at 413 Glenwood Avenue. The spot will be called <strong>NOCO<\/strong>, which stands for No Company. They&#8217;re serving up burgers, hot dogs, pizza, cheesesteaks, fresh cut fries and some Columbian specials as well.
