Located at 2250 Gathering Park Circle in the former <strong>Caf\u00e9 Capistrano<\/strong> space, they feature simple Indian comfort food. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.peacockrtp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" shape=\"rect\">Check them out here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Wake County Restaurant News<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>In September of last year we told you about the changes coming to the 501 Building on Glenwood South. The <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> provided us with an update this week &#8211; Raleigh restaurateurs <strong>Vincent Barresi<\/strong> and <strong>Christopher Bender<\/strong> will open <strong>Big Boom<\/strong> later next month, or early March in the space formerly occupied by <strong>Red Room<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We got word this week that the former <strong>Pasta <\/strong><strong>Tuscan Grille<\/strong> has completed its transition into a Southern eatery and gastropub called <strong>Rye Bar and Southern Kitchen<\/strong> in the <strong>Raleigh Marriott City Center<\/strong>, and is now open. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ryeraleigh.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" shape=\"rect\">Check them out here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> reported that<strong> Red Hot &amp; Blue<\/strong> is opening soon in Cary&#8217;s <strong>Waverly Place<\/strong>, in the same site it was previously located at 325 New Waverly Place. At this point, all we know is that their opening is &#8220;just around the corner&#8221; according to their Facebook page. This past week they tweaked their menu, and changed the color of their plates! While long-standing, tried-and-true Southern favorites will still be on the menu, the restaurant will introduce several smaller sharable plates and a few new entrees. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/tupelohoneycafe.com\/location\/raleigh\" target=\"_blank\" shape=\"rect\">Check out Tupelo here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Durham, Orange &amp; Chatham County Restaurant News\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0An opening and a grand opening celebration to remind you about over in Durham. Next week (<strong>January 20<\/strong>) <strong>Eschelon Experiences<\/strong> opens their newest concept &#8211; <strong>Basan<\/strong> (Japanese\/sushi restaurant) in downtown Durham&#8217;s <strong>Diamond View III<\/strong> building. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/basanrestaurant.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" shape=\"rect\">Details here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. Originally scheduled to open in the next few months, that opening has been pushed back to the middle or end of 2015. It will be located in the old Yates Motor Company building. Running with the theme of <strong>&#8220;Where the Wild Things Are&#8221;<\/strong> this dinner will feature chefs <strong>James Clark<\/strong> (<strong>Carolina Inn<\/strong>), <strong>Serge Falcon-Vigne<\/strong> (<strong>518 West<\/strong>), <strong>Sean Fowler<\/strong> (<strong>Mandolin<\/strong>), and <strong>Regan Stachler<\/strong> (<strong>Little Hen<\/strong>).
