Chapel Hill St, just down from <strong>Rue Cler<\/strong>. The concept is the creation of <strong>Billy and Kelli Cotter<\/strong>\u00a0of <strong>Toast<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Nick Hawthorne-Johnson and Rochelle Johnson<\/strong>\u00a0of <strong>The Cookery<\/strong>. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dashiramen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Wake County Restaurant News<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Just a week after <strong>Rise Biscuits and Donuts<\/strong>, which opened in 2012 near the <strong>Streets of Southpoint<\/strong> in Durham, announced their first franchise location in Morrisville&#8217;s <strong>Park West Village<\/strong>, we saw on their Facebook page that they have just inked a deal for mid-town Raleigh (could it be <strong>North Hills<\/strong>???). We&#8217;ll keep an eye on this one. In the meantime, <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/risebiscuitsdonuts.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">check out Rise here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>It is time for you to get twisted! <strong>The Twisted Mango<\/strong> has opened in the same space (and owners) that was <strong>La Volta<\/strong> in downtown Raleigh on Fayetteville Street. It is a sports bar with a light food menu, and geared toward creating a family friendly gathering spot in Rolesville. It is scheduled to open later this month on Main St. in the Food Lion shopping center. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Main-Street-Tavern\/1396370497296111\" target=\"_blank\">Check out their Facebook page here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Got word from several folks on <strong>Yelp<\/strong> confirming that <strong>Ashee Ethiopian<\/strong> in Cary will be replaced by <strong>Awaz&#8217;e Ethiopian\/Eritrean Cuisine<\/strong>. The store is located at 904 Northeast Maynard Road in Cary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Durham, Orange &amp; Chatham County Restaurant News\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>This past week, <strong>Gonza Tacos y Tequilla<\/strong> opened their third Triangle location in downtown Durham at 604 Fernway Avenue, in the <strong>West Village Complex<\/strong>. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gonzatacosytequila.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We told you about this back in December, but got word this week that <strong>Ninth Street Coffee House<\/strong> will be opening in mid-February at 714 Ninth Street. It will be serving up all fresh fruit and veggie juices and smoothies, food and coffee. It is going in where <strong>Market Street Coffee<\/strong> recently closed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Also on Ninth Street, we got word this week from our friends over at <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NinthStreetWatc\" target=\"_blank\">Ninth Street Watch<\/a><\/span><\/strong> that a new burger joint and gastropub called <strong>Burger Bach<\/strong> is looking at a March opening at 737 Ninth Street in Durham. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/burgerbachdurham\" target=\"_blank\">Check out their Facebook page here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Closings<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Just after we released our issue last week, social media &#8220;blew up&#8221; with the news that <strong>Crowley&#8217;s<\/strong>, a Raleigh institution for decades, had closed. They were located over off Dixie Trail on Medlin Drive. They will host a <strong>Commemorative Chefs&#8217; Event<\/strong> beginning at 6:30 with a four-course wine-pairing dinner celebrating the cuisine of their executive chefs through the years including <strong>Brian Stapleton<\/strong>, <strong>Jimmy Reale<\/strong> and current executive chef <strong>James Clark<\/strong>.
