Go Heels!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Wake County Restaurant News<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0After a week of &#8220;soft openings&#8221; <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NewRaleigh\" target=\"_blank\">New Raleigh<\/a><\/span><\/strong> is reporting that <strong>Pho Pho Pho Noodle Kitchen + Bar<\/strong> is opening today (please check first). <strong>Pho Pho<\/strong> is the creation of <strong>Sushi Blues Caf\u00e9&#8217;s <\/strong><strong>Quy Duong<\/strong>. It is located in the 510 Building on Glenwood South and will feature traditional Vietnamese dishes. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/phophophonc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Get all the details here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Niall Hanley&#8217;s<\/strong> (i.e. <strong>Hibernian Pubs<\/strong>) next venture is getting closer to fruition according to the <strong>News &amp; Observer<\/strong>. <strong>Raleigh Beer Garden<\/strong>, located at 614 Glenwood Avenue, is on schedule to open in the April\/May timeline. Not much to look at <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/theraleighbeergarden.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">on the website<\/a><\/span><\/strong> yet, but it is coming.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Also in downtown Raleigh, the upstairs part of <strong>Centro Mexican Restaurant<\/strong>, called <strong>Gallo Pelon Mezcaleria<\/strong>, will open this month! No word yet on an official date, but stay tuned. The upstairs will provide more space to accommodate their busy lunch, private events, and other special gatherings. The upstairs will also\u00a0host <strong>Gallo Pel\u00f3n<\/strong>, NC&#8217;s first mezcaleria. Keep up with them <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/gallopelonmezcaleria\" target=\"_blank\">on Facebook here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Rebecca Calhoun<\/strong> updated us on the opening of <strong>El Cerro Mexican Bar &amp; Grill<\/strong> in North Raleigh&#8217;s <strong>Falls Village shopping center<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>This is kind of vague, but equally exciting. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NewRaleigh\" target=\"_blank\">New Raleigh<\/a><\/span><\/strong> reported this week that a yet-to-be-named wine and coffee shop is coming to Raleigh&#8217;s Hillsborough Street in the former <strong>LocoPop&#8217;s<\/strong> location next to <strong>David&#8217;s Dumpling &amp; Noodle Bar<\/strong>. We&#8217;ll keep an eye on it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Cary&#8217;s <strong>Chatham Square Shopping Center<\/strong> is getting two new dining options according to the <strong>News &amp; Observer&#8217;s Greg Cox<\/strong>. <strong>Taqueria La Herradura<\/strong> will feature tacos made with house-made corn tortillas and your choice of ten fillings. Also, <strong>Tibetan Restaurant<\/strong> will open as soon as possible offering a menu made up mostly of familiar Chinese and Indo-Chinese fare. We&#8217;ll keep an eye on these.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Got word from one of my readers that <strong>Koffee Kafe<\/strong> has opened a &#8220;grab and go&#8221; coffee and caf\u00e9 in Cary&#8217;s train station. Obviously convenient for travelers, but also anyone in the area. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Koffee-Kafe\/1584018705147722\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out on Facebook here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Reader <strong>Graciela Reynoso<\/strong> tipped me off to the fact that Cary is now home to <strong>Koko&#8217;s Italian Kitchen<\/strong> at 8306 Chapel Hill Road. Main Street (Hampton Inn building). <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.calavelaraleigh.com\/menu\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership<\/strong> announced this week that <strong>Roots Bakery Bistro &amp; Bar<\/strong> has opened at 161 East Franklin Street in the former <strong>Top This! Check them out <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/trollystopch\" target=\"_blank\">here on Facebook<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>And over in Durham, the <strong>Herald Sun<\/strong> is reporting that <strong>Locopops<\/strong>, at 2600 Hillsborough Road, has reopened for spring with hours from 2 to 7 p.m. New expanded hours will be announced soon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Closings<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Friend <strong>David McCreary<\/strong> informed me that <strong>Mesa Fresca Diner<\/strong> at 775 Center Street in Apex has closed its doors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Vincent&#8217;s<\/strong> on Creedmoor Road in Raleigh has closed in anticipation of the opening of <strong>Vincent&#8217;s BigBoom<\/strong>, a joint venture between <strong>Vincent Barresi<\/strong> and <strong>Christopher Bender<\/strong>. <strong>Big Boom<\/strong> will open in the 510 Building on Glenwood South.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Food Trucks<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Food Truck Rodeo&#8217;s are back!!!!
