As you will recall, <strong>Fonda Lupita<\/strong> (original location in Sanford) was named one of <strong>Eater&#8217;s<\/strong> best new restaurants in the United States. This highly anticipated upscale progressive and modern Indian concept is the brainchild of restaurateurs <strong>Mike Kathrani<\/strong> and <strong>Tina Vora<\/strong> and executed by renowned executive chef <strong>Bhavin Chhatwani<\/strong>, boasting Michelin Star experience. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tamashanc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Learn more about them and get your reservations in here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <strong>Triangle Business Journal <\/strong>shared the news this week that a Charlotte restaurant group (<strong>Conway Restaurant Group<\/strong>) is bringing it latest concept to Raleigh. <strong>Napa at Glenwood<\/strong> will be an upscale wine bar and restaurant in <strong>Glenwood Place<\/strong>, located just inside the Beltline off Glenwood Avenue. They will join <strong>Sushi Mon<\/strong>, <strong>The Iron Oaks<\/strong> and <strong>Ladyfingers Market and Eatery<\/strong> and <strong>Quarter Note Coffee<\/strong> as <strong>Glenwood Place\u2019s<\/strong> food and beverage tenants. Expect them to open in late 2024 with a Napa Valley-inspired food menu and a California-focused wine list according to <strong>TBJ<\/strong>. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.naparestaurantgroup.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Start getting familiar with them here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Up in North Raleigh, reader <strong>Tyler Glover <\/strong>shared that he saw a &#8220;coming soon&#8221; sign for <strong>Epic Wings<\/strong> at <strong>Brennan Station<\/strong>. The actual address is 8107 Creedmoor Rd., Suite 105 (beside<strong> Five Guys<\/strong>). Looks to be their first Triangle-area location, and the first in North Carolina. <strong>Epic Wings<\/strong> started in Southern California in 1982 and currently has 26 locations throughout Southern California and Arizona. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.epicwingsnthings.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Get to know them here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Also in North Raleigh, saw on the <strong>Triangle Foodies Facebook<\/strong> page that <strong>Mon Macaron<\/strong> has opened their third Triangle-area location at 5249 Capital Blvd. Naturally gluten-free macarons made fresh every day, delicious espresso drinks and more. They also have locations in downtown Raleigh&#8217;s <strong>Seaboard Station<\/strong> and in Cary. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.monmacaron.us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit them here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Further up in North Raleigh, got word this week that <strong>Zaxby&#8217;s<\/strong> opened a new restaurant off Louisburg Road (at 7400 Louisburg Rd.) a mile or so up from Interstate 540 (just across from the <strong>Wendy&#8217;s<\/strong>). And to celebrate their opening, they are offering a special &#8220;Buy One, Get One Free&#8221; offer on 10 Boneless Wings tossed in one of <strong>Zaxby&#8217;s<\/strong> eight signature sauces. It&#8217;s the chain&#8217;s fourth location in Raleigh. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zaxbys.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit Zaxby&#8217;s here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Back in downtown Raleigh, <strong>RALtoday<\/strong> shared that downtown bar <strong>Kings<\/strong>, owned by <strong>Cheetie Kumar<\/strong> and <strong>Paul Siler<\/strong>, will be open every night of the week (starting February 26th), even when there are no shows. If you are not familiar with <strong>Chick-fil-A<\/strong>&#8230;.just kidding. They noted on their Facebook post that <strong>Jack U<\/strong>, chef and owner, followed his mother\u2019s craft of cooking from a young age. From his homeland of Thailand, to Los Angeles, to Billings, Montana, and most recently Carrboro. <strong>Jack<\/strong> and his family are thrilled to settle in the heart of Durham. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thaiangleofdurham.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Get familiar with them here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Szechuan Village<\/strong>, which opened in the former <strong>Moon Asian Bistro<\/strong> spot (111 Knox Way) just south of the Orange County line on 15-501, is holding their ribbon cutting and grand opening today,<strong> Friday, February 9th<\/strong>, at 11:30 a.m. followed by an open house.<a href=\"https:\/\/insmeal.com\/SzechuanVillage\"> <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit them here<\/mark><\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Further down into Chatham County, reader <strong>Jay Beaton<\/strong> noticed that <strong>Ni Armors Hawaiian &amp; Polynesian BBQ<\/strong> &#8220;Coming Soon&#8221; sign was down. After speaking with the manager, he learned that they had their soft opening Thursday and will be holding their grand opening this Saturday (<strong>February 10th<\/strong>).
