She is simply handing over the keys to her children who have been with her since the beginning. On <strong>July 25th<\/strong>, the Raleigh location on Capital Blvd., the Durham location and the Cary location will change to <strong>Alpaca Peruvian Charcoal Chicken<\/strong>. The Wake Forest Road location in Raleigh, which is owned by Palma&#8217;s sister, will keep the <strong>Mami Nora&#8217;s<\/strong> name per its development agreement. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/maminoras.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" shape=\"rect\">Check them out here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Wake County Restaurant News<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>\u00a0A slight modification to the opening date for the <strong>Raleigh Beer Garden<\/strong>, located at 614 Glenwood Avenue. They will now open to the public on Tuesday, <strong>July 21st at 11:00 a.m.<\/strong> (it is never too early to start drinking). <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/raleighbeergarden\" target=\"_blank\">Keep up with them on their Facebook page here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Just a reminder that the newest version of <strong>Carolina Ale House<\/strong> will open their doors next Monday (<strong>July 20<\/strong>) in Garner at 400 Conservation Road in the <strong>White Oak shopping center<\/strong>. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/CAHGarner\" target=\"_blank\">Check out their Facebook page here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>\u00a0Speaking of <strong>White Oak<\/strong>, the <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> provided a listing of all the other dining options that are &#8220;in the works&#8221; at the center. They are: <strong>Starbucks<\/strong> (opened in late June), <strong>Five Guys Burgers &amp; Fries<\/strong> (also opening July 20), <strong>Longhorn Steakhouse<\/strong>, Raleigh-based <strong>Buffalo Brothers<\/strong>, <strong>Red Robin<\/strong>, <strong>Panera Bread<\/strong>, and <strong>Krafty Burgers and Brews<\/strong>. Stay tuned on all of these.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Over in Cary, saw on <strong>Yelp<\/strong> that the sign has gone up for the Triangle&#8217;s second location of <strong>The Egg &amp; I<\/strong>. It will be located at 1104 Ledsome Lane, off of Walnut Street across from REI. It is being brought to us by <strong>Teresa Pace<\/strong> and <strong>Cole Harris<\/strong>, who also brought us the Chapel Hill location. According to their website, they are aiming for an <strong>August 31st<\/strong> opening. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.theeggandirestaurants.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Get more information on them here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Also in Cary, the <strong>News &amp; Observer<\/strong> announced that <strong>Red Hot &amp; Blue<\/strong> has opened at Cary&#8217;s <strong>Waverly Place<\/strong>. The barbecue restaurant, which had operated at the shopping center for about 18 years before closing in 2007, is back to serving dishes such as ribs, pulled pork, brisket and chicken. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/redhotandblue.com\/cary\/\" target=\"_blank\">Get more details here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>We told you about it in March, but the <strong>Independent<\/strong> has confirmed that <strong>Tibetan Restaurant<\/strong> (yes, that is their name) has opened at 148-A E. Chatham Street in Cary.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Got word from Knightdale town manager <strong>Seth Lawless<\/strong> that they will be getting their very own brewery come this September called <strong>Oak City Brewing<\/strong>. They will be located on the 700 block of First Avenue, right in front of Knightdale Station.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Got a tweet from reader <strong>Scott Clark<\/strong> that <strong>Nashers Sandwich House<\/strong> will open in the space formerly occupied by <strong>Butcher Block American Grill<\/strong> at 10630 Durant Road in Raleigh. <strong>Nashers<\/strong> will focus on an all natural scratch-made menu featuring sandwiches, salads, soups, and sides. Raleigh&#8217;s <strong>Happy &amp; Hale<\/strong> is making its way over to Durham&#8217;s Ninth Street with plans to open a space that is three times the size of the Raleigh location. Look for them to open in <strong>January, 2016<\/strong> in what used to be a post office at 703 Ninth Street. If you are not familiar with them Durham, <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.happyandhale.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">check them out here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>This is big news for <strong>Brightleaf Square<\/strong> in Durham. The <strong>Urban Food Group<\/strong> (who brought us <strong>Coquette, Vivace<\/strong> and <strong>Chow<\/strong>) announced this week (somewhat vaguely) that they are bringing a new concept to Durham called <strong>Lucia<\/strong>. I don&#8217;t have any more details at this point, other than <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/lucia_durham\" target=\"_blank\">their Twitter handle<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. They obviously plan to open for lunch, but want to get their staff comfortable and trained first. No word yet on when they will open for lunch. Owner <strong>G. Patel<\/strong> announced this week that the restaurant side of the concept will close while it will remain open Thursday through Saturday as a bar and nightlife destination. The festival\u00a0will feature over\u00a060 breweries from\u00a0across the state and beyond, more food trucks than last year with at least\u00a020 trucks.
