Impress your co-workers at the water cooler.<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div><b>Featured Restaurant News<\/b><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>The <b>N&amp;O\u2019s Andrea Weigl<\/b> reported this week that <b>Salt and Lime Cabo Grill<\/b> will be going into the former <b>Amedeo\u2019s North<\/b> location in Raleigh&#8217;s <b>North Ridge Shopping Center<\/b> next to the Harris Teeter. <b>Salt and Lime<\/b> will be a baja-style bar and grill concept with a \u201cCabo\u201d flair. The restaurant hopes to open its doors sometime in December. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Salt-Lime-Cabo-Grill\/218444118314966\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out on Facebook here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><b>Wake County Restaurant News\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Weigl<\/b> is also reporting that just down the road at 5009 Falls of the Neuse Road, a second location of locally-owned restaurant called <b>TerraFin Station<\/b> will take the place of <b>Falls Tap Room<\/b> which closed earlier this year. The restaurant will serve American fare with locally-sourced ingredients, including steak and seafood entr\u00e9es. <b>TerraFin Station<\/b> currently has a location open in Garner. And <a href=\"http:\/\/triangleexplorer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Triangle Explorer<\/a> <b>John Huisman<\/b> tipped me off to the fact that they will open on <b>Monday, November 4th<\/b>. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.terrafinstation.com\/TerraFin_Station\/Home.html\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>And in that same shopping center, in the ever-changing world (or so it seems) with <b>It\u2019s a Grind Coffee House<\/b> (remember the Cary location closing, and then reopening?) the North Raleigh location is no more and is now called <b>D\u00e9J\u00e0 Brew<\/b> according to <b>WRAL<\/b>. It appears as if it is a chain, although we couldn\u2019t find a web site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We knew the newest location of <b>Chuy\u2019s<\/b> was slated for next month over at <b>North Hills<\/b> in Raleigh, but Twitter follower <b>Robert Williams<\/b> sent us a tweet confirming (via <b>John Kane<\/b>) that the opening date is <b>November 12th<\/b>! I can almost taste it now! <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chuys.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We also got word this week that North Carolina\u2019s newest <b>Dave &amp; Buster\u2019s<\/b> location will open its doors to the public on <b>Wednesday, Nov. 6<\/b>. <b>Dave &amp; Buster\u2019s<\/b> will be located in <b>Cary Towne Center<\/b>. Get familiar with this newest fun and interactive dining experience by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.daveandbusters.com\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">visiting them here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>The Twisted Fork<\/b> at <b>Triangle Town Center<\/b> has reopened with a reinvented menu and dining concept. The new menu, which focuses on a fun and fresh dining experience, highlights your favorite American foods in a fun way. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rockytophospitality.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check it out here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><b>Durham, Orange &amp; Chatham County Restaurant News\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>This is exciting news. Durham just got their second location of <b>Los Comales<\/b>. The original location at 2103 N. Roxboro Road has been joined by the newest location near Kroger and Total Wine along 15-501 on Southwest Durham Drive. According to the <b>Chowhound blog<\/b>, they opened their doors yesterday. I\u2019ll be sure to swing by and check it out.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>According to the <b>Herald-Sun<\/b>, the former catering manager at <b>Honey\u2019s<\/b> (which closed in August) is opening a new restaurant called <b>Some Kind of Wonderful<\/b> that will serve comfort food that will make you think of your grandmother. The restaurant is shooting for a November opening and will be located at 826 Fayetteville Street in the <b>Phoenix Crossing Shopping Center<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Baguettaboutit<\/b>, the food truck that sells a variety of sausage-stuffed baked French baguettes, is opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant on <b>Nov. 4<\/b>. But just prior to the opening, they will hold a grand opening celebration on <b>Nov. 1<\/b> from 5-8 that features, you guessed it, a <b>food truck rodeo<\/b> including <b>Baguettaboutit, Sweet Traditions, Captain Poncho <\/b>and<b> American Meltdown<\/b>. <b>Baguettaboutit Cafe<\/b> will be at 2945 S. Miami Blvd., behind Sheetz and Waffle House in the former <b>Worth It Caf\u00e9<\/b> location. <a href=\"http:\/\/baguettaboutit.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Get more details here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>And if you know of a great location for a really cool caf\u00e9 (<b>Caf\u00e9 LOVE<\/b> to be exact) from the folks over at <b>Triangle Raw Foods<\/b>, please reach out to them. Apparently their original plans fell through and they are looking for a new location. <a href=\"http:\/\/trianglerawfoods.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check out Triangle Raw Foods here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><b>Closings\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Downtown Raleigh\u2019s <b>Pop Up Ice Cream Parlour<\/b> confirmed this week on their Facebook page that <b>November 3rd<\/b> will be their last day of operations. No word yet on whether they will \u201cpop up\u201d somewhere else. We\u2019ll keep an eye on it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We got word first through <b>Chapel Hill Magazine<\/b>, that <b>Carr Mill Mall\u2019s Panzanella<\/b> restaurant would not renew its lease and will close their doors at the end of December. <b>Panzanella<\/b> is operated by <b>Weaver Street Market<\/b>. Sad to see them go after 14 years, but you still have a couple of months to get by. Do it! <a href=\"http:\/\/www.panzanella.coop\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>And over in Cary, the<b> Cary Citizen<\/b> reported this week that the <b>Corner Tavern<\/b> has closed their doors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><b>Food Trucks\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>The folks over at the <b>Carrboro Farmers\u2019 Market<\/b> are having a Haloween Pumpkin Party from 3:30 \u2018til 6:30 and a <b>Food Truck Rodeo<\/b> from 7 \u2018til 9 p.m. on <b>Wednesday, October 30th<\/b>. Food trucks included will be <b>American Meltdown, Baguettaboutit, Foster\u2019s on the Fly, Steel String Brewery<\/b> and more. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.carrborofarmersmarket.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Get all the details here<\/a>.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Here is a good &#8220;cause&#8221; to get behind. The event features NC State alumni who are chefs or are otherwise involved with restaurants, farms, breweries, alcoholic beverage companies and\/or wineries. Ticket proceeds support <b>Wine to Water.<\/b> And as a perk, all <b>Triangle Food Guy<\/b> friends will get $5 off admission by entering <b>\u201ctrifoodguy\u201d<\/b> at checkout. They will be hosting a Halloween-themed dinner on <b>Wednesday, Oct. 30<\/b>. All food served during the event will play off Halloween and will be monster-themed cuisine and cocktails. The cost is $50 excluding tax and gratuity and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rockytophospitality.com\/about\/gift-cards.php\" target=\"_blank\">tickets can be purchased here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>If there is one way to bring Duke and Carolina together this time of year, it is beer. And the <b>Washington Duke Inn<\/b> is doing just that with a fun beer dinner planned with <b>Carolina Brewery<\/b> on <b>November 6th<\/b>.
