It is possible they will be open before year\u2019s end. It will offer a full breakfast menu featuring <strong>Carrboro Coffee Roasters<\/strong> coffee and a sandwich, soup and salad menu for lunch. Good<\/strong> will be opening their second Raleigh location in the <strong>Charter Square<\/strong> building on Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh. They currently operate in the food court at <strong>Crabtree Valley Mall<\/strong>. The restaurant closed on June 25th to allow the first renovations in 23 years at an anticipated cost of $700,000. Can\u2019t wait to see what <strong>Chef Teddy Diggs<\/strong> has in store for us!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Over in Chapel Hill\u2019s <strong>Southern Village<\/strong> we got word from <strong>Art Sheppard<\/strong> (aka <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/wanderingsheppard.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Wandering Sheppard<\/a><\/span><\/strong>) that <strong>Captain Ponchos<\/strong> got their final inspection this week and will swing open the doors to their brick and mortar location today, <strong>September 25th<\/strong>. We\u2019ll keep an eye on this one.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> reported this week that Durham\u2019s newest distillery, which crafts gin and liqueur, will officially open its doors for public tours and tastings <strong>Oct. 1<\/strong>. <strong>Durham Distillery<\/strong>, owned by <strong>Melissa and Lee Katrincic<\/strong>, will sell three varieties of their premium gin as well as three varieties of flavored liqueurs.
