The 150-seat restaurant will serve guests from sunrise to moonrise and feature a morning barista-led caf\u00e9, as well as a private event room for business meetings and special events. The restaurant will feature a central bar-in-the-round with ample indoor and outdoor seating, exclusively designed to provide outdoor dining and special event space. I joined the beautiful and talented <strong>Lori Bowers-Lennard<\/strong> for dinner this week and was overwhelmed by what they have done with that space, not to mention the amazing food. A tremendous addition to downtown. They are located next door to&nbsp;<strong>Enrigo Italian Bistro<\/strong>&nbsp;and near&nbsp;<strong>Gonza Tacos Y Tequila<\/strong> at the grassy area. This will be their 6th location, and first in Cary. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tworoosters.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Visit them here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>RALtoday<\/strong> reported this week that <strong>Poole&#8217;s Diner<\/strong> will open its expanded dining room on <strong>Friday, November 1 <\/strong>after previous occupant <strong>Poole&#8217;side Pies<\/strong> closed in December 2023. Guests should expect an expanded menu with wood-fired options, thanks to <strong>Poole&#8217;side&#8217;s<\/strong> pizza operation, comfort food, and more of what you love from <strong>Poole&#8217;s<\/strong>. The shop will offer freshly baked cookies, ice cream and unique flavors. Opening day will feature giveaways and a chance to win free cookies for a year. Their original location is in the <strong>Transfer Co. This is their third location (also in Cary and Sanford). <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/corbettsburgers.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Start getting familiar with them here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A changing of the guard over in Clayton thanks to an update from <strong>Raleigh Magazine<\/strong>. They shared that <strong>Crawford Hospitality<\/strong> has sold Clayton\u2019s <strong>Crawford Cookshop<\/strong> to <strong>Oscar Diaz<\/strong> of <strong>Cortez<\/strong> fame (who also recently opened <strong>Little Bull<\/strong> in Durham, with concepts <strong>AAKTUN<\/strong> and <strong>TaTaco <\/strong>also coming soon to Bull City). <strong>Diaz<\/strong> and <strong>Mezcalito Group Inc.<\/strong> will be introducing a new concept in the space. Stay tuned. <strong>Cookshop\u2019s<\/strong> last service will be tomorrow, <strong>Saturday, October 5<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Down in Fuquay-Varina, <strong>Donovan Manor<\/strong>, a new wedding venue, opens on <strong>October 11th<\/strong>. <strong>Donovan Manor<\/strong> is owned and operated by <strong>Jill Donovan<\/strong>, owner of <strong>Donovan&#8217;s Dish<\/strong>. The expansive, private 15-acre estate is located just 10 miles from downtown Raleigh and provides the perfect setting for all your special occasions. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.donovanmanor.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Check it out here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A couple of changes in the pizza world thanks to an update from <strong>Michael DePersia<\/strong> of <strong>DePersia &amp; Associates<\/strong> &#8212; the <strong>Little Ceasars<\/strong> at 4800 Grove Barton Rd. in Raleigh has been sold to a multi unit franchisee from California and will continue to operate as per usual. Also, <strong>Mega Pizza<\/strong> at 9101 Leesville Rd. in Raleigh has been sold to the group that owns <strong>Big Sergios Pizza<\/strong> at 2127 Ten Ten Rd. in Apex. For now it is \u201cbusiness as usual\u201d with minor changes to the menu over time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Durham, Orange &amp; Chatham Restaurant News<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Triangle Busiiness Journal<\/strong> reported that a new coffee shop, tiki bar and restaurant venue is on its way to Durham. <strong>Aaktun Coffee + Bar<\/strong> will open in a few weeks at 704 E. Ramseur St. that will add to a growing lineup of food and beverage on the block. <strong>Aaktun\u2019s<\/strong> Instagram describes itself as a \u201clocal coffee shop during the day, Tulum inspired bar by night.\u201d <strong>Mezcalito<\/strong>, a restaurant group with six Tex-Mex restaurants in North Carolina, is behind the concept according to the new shop&#8217;s social media account. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/aaktunnc\/\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Keep up with their progress on Instagram here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Saw on the <strong>Triangle NC Foodies<\/strong> Facebook page that <strong>Tacos Number Juan<\/strong> just opened (official grand opening will be on <strong>Oct. 12<\/strong>) at 910 MLK Parkway (in the former <strong>Wendy\u2019s<\/strong> near <strong>Zaxbys<\/strong>). With lounge seating, air hockey, games, taco bar and more, this eatery is hopping! Start with refreshing margaritas and aqua frescas (with wine, beer, and more to come). They also noted that the menu serves up amazing quesabirrias, tacos, ACP, burritos and all your other favorites.
