Targeting early April, <strong>Happy + Hale<\/strong> will operate out of a container on an empty lot on Harrington Street at <strong>Smoky Hollow<\/strong> in downtown Raleigh. The idea is simple. Bring a healthy option at an affordable price to the people. To do so, the container version of <strong>Happy + Hale<\/strong> will feature just three bowls\u2014two signature and one create-your-own with your choice of base, protein, toppings and sauce made from minimal clean ingredients\u2014all priced at an even $10. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/happyandhale\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Best to follow along on Instagram<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Wake County Restaurant News<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cary doesn&#8217;t have anything on Raleigh&#8230;at least when it comes to the newest park developments in both communities. If you&#8217;ve been to downtown Cary&#8217;s newest park, <strong>Downtown Cary Park<\/strong>, you have no doubt enjoyed a bite to eat or drink from <strong>Market 317<\/strong> or <strong>The Bark Bar<\/strong>. Well, <strong>Raleigh Magazine<\/strong> shared this week that <strong>Raleigh Park Ventures<\/strong> will also operate similar options at <strong>Dix Park<\/strong> out of the historic <strong>House of Many Porches<\/strong> which is located next to the highly anticipated <strong>Gipson Play Plaza<\/strong>. The magazine noted that they will offer things such as sandwiches and wraps, coffee, baked goods, and frozen desserts\u2014plus beer and wine available to enjoy on the great lawn. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/dixpark\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Follow Dix Park on Instagram<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Also in downtown Raleigh, <strong>Triangle Business Journal <\/strong>reported this week that <strong>The Bike Library<\/strong> will open a shop in Raleigh&#8217;s <strong>West End<\/strong> this summer just down from <strong>Boulted Bread<\/strong> in the Platform Raleigh Apartments. And while &#8220;Bike&#8221; is in their name, coffee will be front and center with a full coffee bar, vegan and gluten-free baked goods, as well as serving drinks in the evening. Look for additional outposts to pop up along Raleigh&#8217;s greenway system. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/the.bike.library\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Keep up on Instagram here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>.   <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> reported this week that <strong>Crofton\u2019s Pretzels<\/strong> of Wilmington will open at 1400 S. Saunders St. (next to <strong>Riparian Provision Company<\/strong>) on April 26 (of note, that is <strong>National Pretzel Day<\/strong>!). <strong>Crofton\u2019s<\/strong> specializes in Philadelphia-style pretzels baked from scratch with a wide array of stuffed options, including cheese, pepperoni, cheesecake and brownies. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.croftonspretzels.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Get familiar with them here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Over in Raleigh&#8217;s <strong>Iron Works<\/strong>, <strong>Little Rey&#8217;s<\/strong> will feature a monthly taco from a rotating local chef with 100% of proceeds from all purchases going to a charity of the guest chef\u2019s choice. The March collab will feature chef <strong>Scott Crawford<\/strong> from neighboring <strong>Brodeto<\/strong> and will benefit <strong>Ben\u2019s Friends<\/strong>, a nonprofit that helps food and beverage workers struggling with addiction. <strong>Crawford<\/strong> has created an octopus taco with salsa macha that marries the Northern Mexican flavors of <strong>Little Rey<\/strong> with <strong>Brodeto\u2019s<\/strong> Southern Italian\/Croatian concept. Pittsboro will soon have a new Italian Restaurant in <strong>MOSAIC at Chatham Park<\/strong>. The name is still being finalized and looking toward a late summer opening. It is brought to us by <strong>Greg Lewis<\/strong>, owner of\u00a0<strong>The Sycamore at Chatham Mills<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Forest Hall at Chatham Mills<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>39 West Catering<\/strong>.
