Impress your co-workers at the water cooler.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Featured Restaurant News<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0This is pretty cool. <strong>Julie Terry<\/strong> out at <strong>RTP<\/strong>, was the first to inform me about a new dining option right in the middle of the Triangle. <strong>The Farmery<\/strong> is now operating a restaurant out of a 1968 Airstream kitchen at <strong>The Frontier<\/strong> in Research Triangle Park. The coolest part is that many of <strong>The Farmery\u2019s<\/strong> ingredients are sourced directly from shipping containers located across the Triangle that have been converted into crop boxes. They are currently open 11am &#8211; 3pm, Monday &#8211; Friday, but expect to begin offering breakfast options soon. You can find them at 800 Park Offices Drive in Research Triangle Park. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thefarmery.com\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Wake County Restaurant News<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>We told you about this back in January (everything but the new name), but the <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> reported this week that the entity taking over the former <strong>Tyler\u2019s Taproom<\/strong> location in Raleigh\u2019s <strong>Seaboard Station<\/strong> will be called <strong>Oak &amp; Dagger Public House<\/strong>. As reported, it will feature a full-on brewery surrounding diners on all sides. The <strong>TBJ<\/strong> reports they will also open a bottle shop. Look for a Spring opening.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>The <strong>News &amp; Observer<\/strong> reported that downtown Raleigh\u2019s <strong>Person Street Pharmacy<\/strong> will begin offering a breakfast menu (and opening an hour earlier) next Tuesday, <strong>February 9th<\/strong>. Check out all the improvements taking place on <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ThePharmacyCafeRaleigh\" target=\"_blank\">their Facebook page here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Changes coming to downtown Raleigh\u2019s <strong>Napper Tandy\u2019s<\/strong> was one of the worst kept secrets toward the end of 2015. But it is now confirmed that <strong>Napper Tandy\u2019s<\/strong> is no longer. It is now <strong>Tremor Bar and Grill<\/strong>, still located at 410 Glenwood Avenue. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/tremorbar.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check out the new website here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Last week we told you that the doors were temporarily closed to downtown Raleigh\u2019s <strong>Cafe de los Muertos<\/strong> (at 300 W. Hargett Street) after the NC Department of Revenue encouraged them to do \u201ca little remodeling.\u201d Well, apparently they have kissed and made up and things are back to normal. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/cafemuertos\/\" target=\"_blank\">Stop by and pay them a visit<\/a><\/span><\/strong>!<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Thanks to the keen eyes of the <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.eatraleighblog.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">EatRaleigh blog<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, it looks like there is a bakery making plans to move into the former<strong> Zydeco<\/strong> space at 208 Wolfe Street, near <strong>Big Ed\u2019s<\/strong> in <strong>City Market<\/strong>. As if that is not enough sugary goodness for one corner of the Triangle, this week folks on <strong>Yelp<\/strong> were reporting that <strong>Baker\u2019s Dozen Donuts<\/strong> has opened at 123 Plantation Square behind <strong>Triangle Town Center<\/strong> near <strong>First Watch<\/strong>.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Not sure how we missed this, but a new authentic Jamaican restaurant has opened at 3901 Capital Blvd. in Raleigh called <strong>Mum\u2019s Jamaican Restaurant<\/strong>. Thanks to <strong>Janika Reid<\/strong> for reaching out to me. Thanks <strong>Darcy<\/strong>!<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Durham, Orange &amp; Chatham County Restaurant News<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Literally just got the press release that <strong>tonight<\/strong>, \u2018Barbecue Man\u2019 <strong>Wyatt Dickson<\/strong> and chef\/partner <strong>Ben Adams<\/strong>, teamed up with <strong>Green Button Farm\u2019s Ryan Butler<\/strong>, will open <strong>Picnic<\/strong>. It is just dinner today, lunch and dinner tomorrow. <strong>Picnic<\/strong> is a modern roadside barbecue joint where authentic whole hog barbecue &#8211; smoked slowly over oak &#8211; will share the plate with <strong>Adams\u2019<\/strong> seasonal Southern sides and desserts. They are located at 1647 Cole Mill Road in Durham. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.picnicdurham.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Get all the details here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Chapel Hill Magazine<\/strong> broke the news that the much-anticipated <strong>Pizzeria Mercato<\/strong> opened this week at 408 W. Weaver Street. <strong>Mercato<\/strong> is operated by <strong>Gabe Barker<\/strong>, son of James Beard-award-winning chefs <strong>Ben <\/strong>and<strong> Karen Barker<\/strong>, former owners of <strong>Magnolia Grill<\/strong> in Durham. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/pizzeriamercatonc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">You can get all the details and check out their menu here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>And then there were two. They will be moving to 721 Broad Street, occupying the street-level space in the ADF building. Look for the move to take place in March. The breakfast menu will be available 7:30-10:30 a.m. Monday-Friday. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/onlyburger.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check out Only Burger here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> reported this week that <strong>Lucky Chicken<\/strong>, the Peruvian-style restaurant with locations already in Cary and Clayton, has expanded with a third location now open in Durham\u2019s the <strong>Shops at Northgate<\/strong> near <strong>Northgate Mall<\/strong>, close to the Sky Zone entertainment center. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.luckychickennc.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check out the Lucky Chicken here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Closings<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Got word this week that the <strong>Johnny Carino\u2019s<\/strong> in Raleigh\u2019s <strong>Brier Creek<\/strong> has closed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Also, as previously reported,\u00a0<strong>Michelangelo\u2019s Pizza<\/strong> on Harrison Avenue in Cary has closed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Food Trucks<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Chapel Hill\u2019s <strong>Al\u2019s Burger Shack<\/strong> announced via Facebook this week that they will debut their food truck, <strong>Al\u2019s Burger Truck<\/strong>, this Saturday night (<strong>February 6th<\/strong>) at <strong>The Kracken<\/strong>, a cool little bar out Highway 54 just west of Carrboro at Dodson\u2019s Crossroads.
