The second location will officially open <strong>TODAY, Friday, April 18<\/strong> at <strong>Fenton<\/strong> in Cary. This new outpost reimagines the <strong>Brewery Bhavana<\/strong> experience with a lush beer garden twist. The menu will feature their signature dim sum\u2014including dumplings, egg rolls and steamed buns\u2014alongside guest favorites like Peking Duck, General Tso&#8217;s Chicken and soup dumplings. They first opened their doors in Raleigh in 2017 and earned national recognition for their innovative approach to food, beer and design. <strong>Patrick Woodson<\/strong> became the sole owner in May 2023. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/brewerybhavana\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Get the latest on Instagram here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Wake County Restaurant News<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Raleigh Magazine<\/strong> shared the news this week that downtown Raleigh&#8217;s <strong>Gallo Pelon<\/strong> <strong>Mezcaleria<\/strong> (106 South Wilmington Street) is closing its doors after 10 years. Their last day will be May 5th (Cinco de Mayo). That&#8217;s the bad news. The good news is that <strong>Kim Hammer<\/strong> and <strong>Lewis Norton<\/strong> of <strong>Bittersweet<\/strong>, a dessert shop at 16 E Martin St., and <strong>Johnson Street Yacht Club<\/strong>, will open <strong>Bitter Social<\/strong> in that space. They are shooting for a late summer opening. According to the magazine, the bar\/social space will be heavily event-focused, with daily programming like smutty poetry and prose nights cohosted by <strong>Blackbird Books and Coffee<\/strong>, a \u201ctrashy wine club\u201d pairing vino with everything from potato chips to candy, DJ dance parties, the return of <strong>Bittersweet&#8217;s<\/strong> gin club, and much more. This is their third location, with locations in both Durham and RTP. The spot offers great drinks, salads and sandwiches and features conference rooms, an outdoor area, a rec space and more! And while they have plans for new concepts in both spaces, they will reopen the existing <strong>Pizza Factory<\/strong> concept as quickly as possible giving them time to make a proper transition to the new concept. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>And <strong>Tyler<\/strong> also informed us that <strong>Sam Suchoff<\/strong> has sold <strong>PiggyBack <\/strong>bar<strong> <\/strong>(in the <strong>Cedar Falls Courtyard<\/strong> at 630 Weaver Dairy Road in Chapel Hill) to the folks at <strong>Beau Catering<\/strong> who plan to open with their own new bar concept.
