They already have two locations in the Triangle &#8211; Raleigh (4516 Falls of the Neuse Road) and Cary (Cary Parkway and Kildaire Farm). If you haven&#8217;t been to one of the other locations yet, it is definitely a blend of bold Mexican flavors and a vibrant atmosphere. Welcome to Durham! <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/labuenavida_oficial\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Might be best to follow along on Instagram here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Wake County Restaurant News<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We first told you about this in June, 2024, but it looks like we are getting closer and closer to the return of <strong>Red Hot &amp; Blue<\/strong>\u00a0to Raleigh. Work is being completed on the outparcel building in the\u00a0<strong>Quail Corners Shopping Center<\/strong> at the corner of Falls of the Neuse and Millbrook roads and signage is up on the building. The last Raleigh location closed about two years ago and they now have a location in Morrisville. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/redhotandblue.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Keep up with their progress on their website here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Looks like May will be the apropos date for the opening of <strong>M\u00e2y Bakery &amp; Caf\u00e9<\/strong> in <strong>Plantation Square<\/strong> over by <strong>Triangle Town Center<\/strong> in the former <strong>Your Pie<\/strong> location. They are self-described as a cozy space where French elegance meets Vietnamese tradition. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/maybakery.cafe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Follow along on Instagram for the pending announcement<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We are just weeks away (shooting for mid-May) from a couple of really cool dining options hanging out side-by-side. Former downtown Raleigh vegetarian and vegan hotspot <strong>Fiction Kitchen<\/strong> is moving from their current location at <strong>Gateway Plaza<\/strong> (next to <strong>Union Special<\/strong>)\u00a0to the plaza\u2019s other side where they&#8217;ll be alongside <strong>Mala Pata<\/strong>, an upcoming new Mexican restaurant and bar. <strong>Mala Pata<\/strong> is a collaboration between some pretty cool restaurant veterans &#8211; <strong>Angela Salamanca<\/strong>, <strong>Marshall Davis<\/strong> (<strong>Centro<\/strong>, <strong>Gallo Pel\u00f3n Mezcaleria<\/strong>, <strong>Ex-Voto<\/strong>, <strong>Patty Boy<\/strong>) and chefs <strong>Eric Montagne<\/strong> and <strong>Zack Gragg<\/strong> (<strong>Standard Beer + Food<\/strong>, <strong>Locals Seafood<\/strong>). This location will have a drive-thru. The new restaurant will focus on Italian-American dishes featuring fresh pasta, homemade sauces, and wood-fired pizzas, along with a well-curated wine list and specialty cocktails according to the newspaper. We were unable to find an online presence, so stay tuned. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Closings<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Sue Leichliter<\/strong> shared with the <strong>Chapel Hill Carrboro Foodies<\/strong> group that she saw signage on the <strong>Uncle Julio&#8217;s <\/strong>location in Durham at the <strong>Streets at Southpoint<\/strong> indicating that they have closed. The Raleigh location at <strong>Crabtree Valley Mall<\/strong> closed last November. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Food Trucks<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The remaining schedule for the <strong>Durham Central Park Food Truck Rodeos<\/strong> is as follows: <strong>June 1<\/strong>; and <strong>November 2<\/strong>..
