This restaurant will be the fourth Triangle-area location for the growing Wilmington seafood brand, joining the established Village District, Wake Forest and North Raleigh locations. The opening to the public will be preceded by \u201creservation-only\u201d charity events to benefit community partners <strong>The First Tee of the Triangle<\/strong>, <strong>The Pretty in Pink Foundation<\/strong> and <strong>The Trawick Pediatric Cardiology Fund<\/strong> at <strong>Duke Children\u2019s Hospital<\/strong>. Fifty percent of all sales from these events will be donated to the organizations. Hailing from Charlotte, this concept from\u00a0<strong>Conway Restaurant Group<\/strong>\u00a0will be\u00a0<strong>Napa\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0fourth restaurant in North Carolina and its first in the Triangle. Guests can expect an elevated atmosphere with wine country cuisine, cocktails, and of course, a carefully-selected wine list \u2013 perfect for brunches, happy hours, and date nights all spring and summer long. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.naparestaurantgroup.com\/napabistro-raleigh\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Get to know them here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It was announced this week that <strong>Campo Taco Co.<\/strong>, a new family-owned restaurant offering authentic Mexican cuisine, will open later this year at <strong>Rockway<\/strong>, the vibrant new mixed-use destination adjacent to Dix Park in downtown Raleigh. <strong>Campo<\/strong> will open on the street level of <strong>The Row<\/strong>, just steps away from Raleigh\u2019s beloved Greenway and the soon-to-open Gipson Play Plaza at Dix Park. They will soon be joined by the second location of <strong>Benchwarmers Bagels\u00a0<\/strong>and <strong>Willow House Coffee<\/strong> is already open across the street.\u00a0This is part of the same family that brought us <strong>Lobera Tacos &amp; Tequila<\/strong> on Hillsborough Street in Raleigh. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/campotaco.co\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Follow along on Instagram here<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Also in Raleigh, <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> reported that husband-and-wife team <strong>Yousef<\/strong> and <strong>Sereen Said<\/strong> will open <strong>Purple Spoon Acai<\/strong> in July at 3801 Hillsborough Street by the <strong>Brickhouse Sports Bar and Grille<\/strong> in the former <strong>Ben &amp; Jerry\u2019s<\/strong> ice cream spot. And don&#8217;t expect this to be the last location, as they have a vision of opening three more locations in the area &#8211; possibly Village District, North Hills and Wake Forest. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/purplespoonacai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Watch for announcements on their Instagram page<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Cuya Cocina Latina<\/strong> (which recently opened in the former <strong>Cortez <\/strong>spot on Glenwood South) announced via their social media this week that aside from nightly dinner service Tuesday through Sunday, they are beginning <strong>Weekend Brunch<\/strong>! They will begin this Sunday, before going full launch every weekend! They reported this week that <strong>Andy\u2019s Frozen Custard<\/strong>, a dessert chain headquartered in Springfield, Missouri, is under construction at 340 E. Six Forks Road near Costco and Wegmans. They also noted that instead of indoor dining space, the custard spot will have an outdoor patio with an order and pickup window area. Buddy <strong>Chris Creighton<\/strong> shared that <strong>Baker\u2019s Dozen Donuts<\/strong>, which\u00a0is moving into the spot where\u00a0<strong>Bonafide Bakeshop &amp; Cafe<\/strong>\u00a0used to be in\u00a0<strong>Beaver Commons<\/strong>\u00a0(1232 W. Williams Street) in Apex is looking to open on <strong>Monday, May 19th<\/strong> (assuming all final inspections go well). Stay tuned. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Over in Wendell, thanks to the keen eyes of reader <strong>Tim Decker <\/strong>we have learned that a new <strong>Chick-fil-A<\/strong> location is about to undergo construction near the <strong>City BBQ<\/strong> at 2100 Treelight Way. No word on an open date. Wendell is popping! <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Down in Holly Springs, the <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> reported that <strong>Fable Books and Cafe<\/strong> will open in June at 219 Raleigh Street. The concept is owned by <strong>Nirmaliz Col\u00f3n<\/strong> and <strong>DeAnna Kalk<\/strong>. They will be giving away free stuff every hour &#8211; and one lucky winner will win their grand prize: free ice cream for a year! They&#8217;ll have samples of some of the new flavors they are working on and a coloring activity for kids.
