In addition to a crazy selection of cider offerings, they will offer a fantastic menu featuring locally sourced Firsthand Foods sausages, housemade toppings and elevated bar fare. Get by <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sixplates.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Six Plates<\/a><\/span><\/strong> before March 11th! <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blacktwigciderhouse.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check out Black Twig here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Wake County Restaurant News<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>In December we told you about the transition in ownership of<strong> Maximillian\u2019s Grill<\/strong> in Cary from the original owners,<strong> Michael and Gayle Schiffer<\/strong>, to the couple\/employees that bought it,<strong> Margie and Will Hennessee<\/strong>. The<strong> News &amp; Observer<\/strong> reported this week that while the interior will change (just about everything except the floor), the<strong> Hennessees<\/strong> say the spirit and legacy of<strong> Maximillian\u2019s<\/strong> will not and they hope to reopen the restaurant in early March. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.maximilliansgrill.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check out Maximillian&#8217;s here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Also in Cary, I saw in <strong>Cary Magazine<\/strong> that Tex-Mex restaurant <strong>Chuy\u2019s<\/strong> has begun hiring and will open in the new <strong>Parkside Town Commons<\/strong> on <strong>April 5<\/strong>. <strong>Chuy\u2019s<\/strong> has one other location in the Triangle at <strong>North Hills<\/strong>. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.chuys.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check out Chuy&#8217;s here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>And staying in Cary, we got word of a media-preview event in early March for the <strong>Newk\u2019s Eatery<\/strong> that will open in the next few weeks in the spot formerly occupied by the <strong>Hibernian Pub<\/strong> on Kildaire Farm Road. If you are not familiar with <strong>Newk\u2019s<\/strong>, they offer Southern-inspired, made-from-scratch soups, sandwiches, salads and pizzas for lunch and dinner. This will be their 98th location in the Southeast. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.newks.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Thanks to <strong>David McCreary<\/strong> (aka <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lunchboysays.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">LunchBoy Says<\/a><\/span><\/strong>), we learned that <strong>Eggs Up Grill<\/strong>, a breakfast-and-lunch franchise concept popular in the Myrtle Beach area, will open its first North Carolina location in Fuquay-Varina sometime this spring. The restaurant will be located at 1436 N. Main Street in the <strong>Sexton Commons Shopping Center<\/strong> in the space formerly occupied by <strong>Bellini Fine Italian Cuisine<\/strong>. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.eggsupgrill.com\" target=\"_blank\">Check out Eggs Up here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Over in Raleigh, the newest <strong>Glenwood South<\/strong> restaurant, <strong> International Breakfast &amp; Burger Company<\/strong>, \u00a0opened this past week in the 222 Glenwood Building in the space formerly occupied by <strong>Bruegger\u2019s Bagels<\/strong>. The restaurant is owned by <strong>John Tang<\/strong>, who is also the owner of <strong>Sushi O<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Got word this week that <strong>Kamado Grille<\/strong> in North Raleigh is now open on Sundays from from noon until 8 p.m. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kamadogrille.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Get all the details here.<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Durham, Orange &amp; Chatham County Restaurant News<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Got word from<strong> Sean O\u2019Neill<\/strong> that he is bringing<strong> Chronic Tacos<\/strong>, a franchise from California, to the Triangle. Three of them actually. The first to open will be in<strong> Meadowmont Village<\/strong> in Chapel Hill. They are working toward a late April opening. The second location will be at the<strong> Shoppes at Heritage Village<\/strong> in Wake Forest, and the third will be at the new<strong> Olive Park shopping center<\/strong> at the corner of Falls of Neuse and Litchford Rd. In Raleigh. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/eatchronictacos.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Get familiar with Chronic Tacos here.<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Got word this week that <strong>City Beverage<\/strong> in southwest Durham will close their doors this Saturday, <strong>February 27th<\/strong> to make way for a new concept and new owners. According to <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/diggindurham\" target=\"_blank\">Diggin&#8217; Durham<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, the new concept will be a brew-pub&#8217;ish spot expected to re-open in mid-March. Stay tuned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>And this is kind of fun, <strong>Guglhupf Bakery, Cafe &amp; Restaurant<\/strong> continues to grow, evolve and change.
