Our thoughts and prayers are with <strong>Jill<\/strong>, their three little girls, his entire family and the staff at <strong>Donovan\u2019s<\/strong>. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/donovansdish.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Donovan&#8217;s Dish<\/a><\/span><\/strong> will continue to carry on his legacy and his passion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Wake County Restaurant News<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>News &amp; Observer<\/strong> was the first to report that five months after opening, chef <strong>Scott Crawford<\/strong> has announced that he is leaving Raleigh\u2019s <strong>Standard Foods<\/strong>. The search for <strong>Crawford\u2019s<\/strong> replacement is underway. As far as <strong>Crawford<\/strong>? He will remain at <strong>Standard Foods<\/strong> through the first week of May. It is unclear if his next project will keep him here locally. Let\u2019s hope so! In the meantime, <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/standard-foods.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">check Standard Foods out here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Got word from <strong>Derrick Minor<\/strong> that the folks behind <strong>Icon Hospitality Group<\/strong> (think <strong>The Architect, Linus &amp; Peppers, Virgil&#8217;s Taqueria, Level Up<\/strong>, etc.) have announced plans for their newest concept, <strong>Little City Brewing &amp; Provisions Company<\/strong> which will be located at 400 West North Street. It is anticipated that it will re-open as a brewery concept, possibly as its sister concept called <strong>The Mash House<\/strong> (located in Fayetteville). You\u2019ll remember they closed suddenly after a support wall collapsed back in February, which initially was thought to be a game-ender for the downtown Raleigh hang-out. Unfortunately, no other details were released, but we\u2019ll keep an eye on it. Stay tuned.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Over in Cary, <strong>Randy\u2019s Pizza<\/strong> has opened their 9th Triangle area location. This one is located in the <strong>Northwoods Market<\/strong> shopping center at 941 N. Harrison Avenue. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/randys-pizza.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check out Randy&#8217;s Pizza here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Over in Apex, there is a new restaurant in downtown called <strong>The Provincial<\/strong>. Apparently it is in the former <strong>Rock Harbor Grill<\/strong> spot at 121 N. Salem Street. A pretty extensive Google search turns up nothing. I\u2019ve seen pictures of it, thanks to a contractor that did some work there, but nothing else. You\u2019ll just have to venture into downtown Apex and check it out!<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Things are about to get a lot sweeter in Holly Springs. Their last night is tomorrow, April 2nd.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Likewise, Durham\u2019s <strong>G2B Restaurant<\/strong> will serve its last meal tomorrow night (April 2) after a five year run.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Got word that the <strong>Black Cat Caf\u00e9<\/strong> at <strong>North Hills<\/strong> in Raleigh has closed their doors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The bad news. The Cary location of <strong>Z Pizza<\/strong> has closed. The good news. The other two locations, downtown Raleigh and North Raleigh, continue to thrive and grow. We understand there is another pizza place coming in, but can\u2019t announce it at this point.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Food Trucks<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>I saw on <strong>Art Sheppard\u2019s<\/strong> post on <strong>WRAL<\/strong> that <strong>Fairview Greenhouses and Garden Center<\/strong> will host its annual <strong>Flora and Food Trucks<\/strong> series starting <strong>April 2<\/strong>.
