The Chapel Hill-based festival, now in its seventh year, offers exceptional dinners, tasting events, after parties, chef demos as well as the \u201cSustainable Classroom\u201d &#8211; educational experiences featuring renowned chefs, authors &amp; national media. <strong>TerraVita<\/strong> concludes with a <strong>Grand Tasting on the Green<\/strong> featuring over 65 chefs, artisans and beverage producers for tastings, live chef demonstrations and cookbook signings. <strong>TerraVita\u2019s<\/strong> ticket launch and full schedule will be released in mid-June. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/terravitaevent.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">More details here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Wake County Restaurant News<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>According to <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NewRaleigh\" target=\"_blank\">New Raleigh<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, <strong>Brewerks Cafe and Bakery<\/strong> is moving into the former <strong>Quality Grocery<\/strong> spot at 701 E. Lane Street in Oakwood in downtown Raleigh. Not much on <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.brewerks.cafe\/\" target=\"_blank\">their website yet<\/a><\/span><\/strong> (nothing really, but you can look if you want, or don\u2019t believe me).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>A slight correction on the opening of <strong>Pieology<\/strong> on Raleigh\u2019s Hillsborough Street. The \u201cofficial\u201d open date will be <strong>Monday, April 25h<\/strong>. But on April 23rd, free pizza will be offered to all those that donate to <strong>Junior Achievement of Eastern North Carolina<\/strong> from 11 a.m. until 1p.m and again from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. <strong>Pieology<\/strong> is located in the <strong>Stanhope Center<\/strong> at 3001 Hillsborough Street. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/pieology.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Also on Hillsborough Street, I saw on <strong>James Borden&#8217;s Development Beat <\/strong>blog &#8211; <strong>Raleigh Public Record<\/strong> &#8211; that <strong>Pho Vietnam<\/strong> will be opening a new location on the ground floor of the 2811 Hillsborough apartment building. I have to think this is related to the <strong>Pho Vietnam<\/strong> on Buck Jones Road, but not sure if this is a new location or a second location. Will keep an eye on it (or if you know, let me know). <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Pho-Vietnam\/462259097218540\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Got word from <strong>Mario Longo<\/strong> that <strong>Vic\u2019s<\/strong>, with their original location in downtown Raleigh\u2019s <strong>City Market<\/strong>, has opened their second location in the <strong>Market Place at Lake Boone<\/strong> shopping center (think <strong>Buffalo Brothers, WhichWich, Guasaca<\/strong>). <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.vicsitalianrestaurant.com\/#the-kitchen\" target=\"_blank\">Check out Vic&#8217;s here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cary Magazine<\/strong> reported this week that the Cary version of <strong>Chuy\u2019s<\/strong> is now open in the <strong>Parkside Town Commons<\/strong>. <strong>Chuy\u2019s<\/strong> is a Texas-founded establishment that has been around since 1982. Apparently they opened this past Tuesday. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bepositalia.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Durham, Orange &amp; Chatham Restaurant News<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>News &amp; Observer<\/strong> gave us an update this week on what Durham chef <strong>Matt Kelly<\/strong>, who owns <strong>Mateo Tapas<\/strong> and <strong>Vin Rouge<\/strong>, has been up to. They indicated that he will open his next two concepts next to <strong>Mateo Tapas<\/strong> in downtown Durham by the end of May. <strong>Mothers &amp; Sons Trattoria<\/strong>, an Italian restaurant that <strong>Kelly<\/strong> is opening with chef <strong>Josh DeCarolis<\/strong>; and <strong>Lucky\u2019s Deli<\/strong> with <strong>Drew Brown<\/strong>, former co-owner of <strong>Piedmont<\/strong> restaurant and staff chef at <strong>Firsthand Foods<\/strong>. <strong>Kelly\u2019s<\/strong> trio of restaurants will all be on 100 block of West Chapel Hill Street.
