Well, almost. He is opening a location in Raleigh&#8217;s Brier Creek that will also be combined with a food truck, <strong>Ed Mitchell&#8217;s Q on Wheels<\/strong>. Similarly, the brick and mortar location will be called <strong>Ed Mitchell&#8217;s Q at the Creek<\/strong>. No exact date on an opening, but website suggests it will be before year&#8217;s end. Alexander&#8217;s<\/strong> is coming to Raleigh\u2019s Crabtree area! No word yet on the open date, but the website is saying 2016. And there is speculation that there might be a second <strong>J. Alexander<\/strong> conept, <strong>Stoney River Steakhouse<\/strong>, coming to the area as well. Stay tuned! <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/jalexandersholdings.com\/newlocations\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Got word this week that Chicago-based <strong>Potbelly Sandwich Shop<\/strong> will open its first Triangle location in Raleigh before year\u2019s end. But that is all we know at this point. They haven\u2019t released the location. So stay tuned. In the meantime, <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.potbelly.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">check them out here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>In Cary, got word from a reader that <strong>Gonza Tacos Y Tequila<\/strong> continues their growth, this time taking over the former <strong>Barberitos<\/strong> space in <strong>Waverly Place<\/strong>. No word yet on an open date, so stay tuned. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/GONZATACOSYTEQUILA\/?fref=ts\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out on Facebook here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>In case you missed it last week, the long-awaited replacement for <strong>Mimi\u2019s Cafe<\/strong> near <strong>Cary Towne Center<\/strong> has an opening date. <strong>La Madeleine<\/strong>, the acclaimed French-inspired bakery caf\u00e9, will swing open their doors on <strong>July 12th<\/strong>. If you are not familiar with La Madeleine, <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/lamadeleine.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">check them out here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Durham, Orange &amp; Chatham Restaurant News<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>It happened! Both <strong>Mothers &amp; Sons<\/strong> and<strong> Lucky\u2019s Deli<\/strong> have opened! The two joints, located right next to each other on W. Chapel Hill Street in downtown Durham, are the creation of <strong>Mateo<\/strong> owners <strong>Matt Kelly<\/strong> and <strong>Josh DeCarolis<\/strong> along with <strong>Drew Brown<\/strong>. They officially open this Sunday in the <strong>Meadowmont shopping district<\/strong>, a few doors down from <strong>Brixx Pizza<\/strong> and across from <strong>Cafe Carolina<\/strong> and <strong>Firehouse Subs<\/strong>. Congrats to <strong>Sean<\/strong> and his team! <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/chronictacosnc\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Also, the guys behind the <strong>Jersey Mike\u2019s<\/strong> locations in Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill North and Elliott Road) have announced they are opening a third location just across the county line in Durham in the <strong>Falconbridge Shopping Center.<\/strong> This location will be just a few doors down from Mardi Gras bowling alley. No word yet on what <strong>Eschelon Experiences<\/strong> will do next &#8211; stay tuned!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Food Trucks<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>This Sunday, <strong>June 19th<\/strong> is <strong>Durham&#8217;s Annual Father&#8217;s Day Food Truck Rodeo<\/strong> at <strong>Durham Central Park<\/strong>. It will feature over 50 local food trucks from 12-4pm. Local beer will also be available for purchase (a great Father\u2019s Day gift idea! Just sayin\u2019). <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/durhamcentralpark.org\/events\/food-truck-rodeo-info\/\" target=\"_blank\">Get all the details here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Every Friday through August 5, Raleigh\u2019s <strong>Triangle Town Center<\/strong> will host food trucks at its new <strong>&#8220;Creekside Wind Down&#8221;<\/strong> event series. Stop by the mall&#8217;s <strong>Creekside Cafe<\/strong> food court entrance from 5:30 &#8211; 8:30 p.m. to grab a bite, listen to live music and enjoy a local brew from <strong>Compass Rose Brewery<\/strong>. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.triangletowncenter.com\/event\/creekside-wind-down\/2145474056\" target=\"_blank\">Get all the details here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>With the warm weather returning, it also means the return of the <strong>Food Truck Thursdays<\/strong> in Knightdale. Every Thursday from April through June, the town will host a new truck at <strong>Knightdale Station Park<\/strong> for lunch and dinner. Just look for it from 11am to 2pm and 5pm to 8pm near the amphitheater (rain or shine &#8211; shelters are covered).
