As part of the transition, <strong>Trophy Brewing<\/strong> will rebrand the <strong>State of Beer on Morgan<\/strong> to <strong>The Bend Bar<\/strong>. The concept blends bold Peruvian flavors with Japanese influence in a modern, elevated setting. Guests can expect shareable plates, fresh seafood, sushi-inspired dishes, craft cocktails, and a warm lounge-style atmosphere. The Triangle-area franchise, owned and operated by\u00a0<strong>Ryan McEvoy<\/strong>, invites the community to join in a full week of celebrations. This will be the first North Carolina location for the brunch chain. The magazine describes it as if &#8220;<strong>Brooklyn Heights<\/strong> and <strong>Pink Boot<\/strong> had a baby.&#8221; Stay tuned. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Also in Raleigh, friend <strong>Kenan Barnes<\/strong> notified me that we are about to get our first location of <strong>Bagel Dock Express<\/strong>. Couldn&#8217;t exactly determine the location, but it will be on Six Forks Road. They will offer a modern take on traditional Korean cuisine &#8211; rooted in heritage, reimagined with creativity. They invite you to keep an open mind and enjoy their playful interpretations of classic Korean dishes. They are located in the old <strong>Plum<\/strong> space. Now they have closed their remaining taprooms\u00a0in downtown Cary and Angier.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tyler Glover<\/strong> notified me that the <strong>Crafty Crab<\/strong> at 3625 Hillsborough Street in Raleigh has closed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Chapelboro<\/strong> reported that <strong>Rams Corner<\/strong>, a sports bar that opened on West Franklin Street in Chapel Hill in late 2025, has closed. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>And over in Pittsboro, while <strong>Compadres Pittsboro<\/strong> has closed, they are rebranding and working on something exciting for this location. Stay tuned. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Food Trucks<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <strong>Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo<\/strong> is ridin\u2019 back into downtown on <strong>Saturday, June 20th<\/strong> from noon until 6 p.m. on Fayetteville Street in the middle of downtown Raleigh. More than 50 food trucks will be serving everything from savory street eats and smoky barbecue to sweet treats and international flavors. Come hungry and support some of the best local food vendors around! They&#8217;ll also have live music, family-friendly activities, face painting, yard games, and plenty of fun for cowboys and cowgirls of all ages.
