Impress your co-workers at the water cooler.<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Featured Restaurant News<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.raleighagenda.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Raleigh Agenda<\/a><\/span><\/strong> was the first to report that <strong>Buku\u2019s Sean Degnan<\/strong> and <strong>Tony Hopkins<\/strong> will open their second restaurant, <strong>Soca<\/strong>, in Raleigh\u2019s <strong>Cameron Village<\/strong> in the space formerly occupied by <strong>Faire<\/strong>. Where <strong>Buku<\/strong> tends to focus on updates of popular, approachable dishes from Asia, <strong>Soca<\/strong> will shift its eye to South and Central America, the menu bouncing between Colombia and Mexico, Trinidad and Puerto Rico, Jamaica and Chile. They plan to open in January. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/socaraleigh\" target=\"_blank\">Keep up with their progress on Facebook here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Wake County Restaurant News<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Up in Youngsville, just north of Raleigh in Franklin County, the folks over at <strong>Rocky Top Hospitality<\/strong> have purchased <strong>The Boondocks<\/strong>, a special events facility located in historic downtown Youngsville and are rebranding the venue as <strong>Cross+Main<\/strong>. <strong>Rocky Top Catering<\/strong> and <strong>Southland BBQ Catering<\/strong> will now be the exclusive caterers of <strong>Cross+Main<\/strong>. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.boondocksevents.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. Congratulations to <strong>Dean Ogan<\/strong> and his team!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> reported that over in Morrisville, <strong>Guasaca<\/strong>, a Venezuelan grill-style restaurant, will be opening a third location in the region by December. The owners of <strong>Guasaca<\/strong> have signed a lease inside the new <strong>Weston Corners<\/strong> retail complex at the intersection of Weston Parkway and Chapel Hill Road. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/guasaca.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check them out here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Also in <strong>Weston Corners<\/strong>, the developers have announced that leases have also been signed by <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.famoustoastery.com\" target=\"_blank\">Toast Cafe<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.marcos.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Marco&#8217;s Pizza<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jasminbistro.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jasmin Bistro<\/a><\/span><\/strong> and <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.charliegraingers.com\/#home\" target=\"_blank\">Charlie Graingers<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>And just down the street, <strong>Lubrano\u2019s Italian Restaurant<\/strong> at 101 Keybridge Drive in Morrisville is now <strong>Paolo\u2019s on 54<\/strong>. Same ownership and team, just new name. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/paoloson54.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Stop by and check them out<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Also in Morrisville, food blog <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/foodcary.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">FoodCary<\/a><\/span><\/strong> reported that Morrisville will be getting its first <strong>Potbelly Sandwich Shop<\/strong> at 9662 Chapel Hill Road as the Chicago sandwich store comes to the area, with three more openings planned in Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill. The plan for the <strong>Potbelly<\/strong> in Morrisville is to open either in the last week of January or the first week of February. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/potbelly.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Check out Potbelly here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Over in Raleigh, we saw on <strong>James Borden\u2019s <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/raleighpublicrecord.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Raleigh Public Record blog<\/a><\/span><\/strong> that final site work permits were issued last week for Raleigh\u2019s newest <strong>Panera Bread<\/strong> (yawn), which will be located at the redeveloped <strong>Villages of Lake Boone<\/strong>. Actual building permits have not been issued yet, so we don\u2019t have a timeline on that project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Congratulations to <strong>Jill Donovan<\/strong> of <strong>Donovan\u2019s Dish<\/strong> as she announced this week that they have launched their <strong>Dish to Door<\/strong> service.
