Impress your co-workers at the water cooler.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Featured Restaurant News<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0The <strong>News &amp; Observer<\/strong> reported this week that <strong>Bu.ku<\/strong>, the restaurant that introduced global street food to downtown Raleigh, will open a second location by March or April in Wake Forest. This will be the third restaurant for owners <strong>Sean Degnan<\/strong>, <strong>Tony Hopkins<\/strong> and <strong>Todd Ohle<\/strong>, who also operate <strong>so.ca<\/strong> in <strong>Cameron Village<\/strong>. The new <strong>Bu.ku<\/strong> will be at 1228 Heritage Links Drive, in the<strong> Heritage<\/strong> development, next to Wine 101 wine shop. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bukuraleigh.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>Check out Bu.ku here<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Wake County Restaurant News<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>In Raleigh, got word that a new pizza franchise named <strong>Firenza<\/strong> will open in the <strong>McNeill Point<\/strong> development at the corner of McNeill Street and Wake Forest Road (next to <strong>Mami Nora\u2019s<\/strong>). This will be the second location in the state (Charlotte has one) and the first in the Triangle. <a href=\"http:\/\/firenzapizza.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>Get familiar with them here<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Speaking of pizza, blogger <strong>EatRaleigh<\/strong> reported last week that <strong>Brookside Market &amp; Pizza<\/strong> is now open at 1000 Brookside Drive in Raleigh. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Brookside-Market-Pizza-117618661654885\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>Check them out on Facebook here<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>And if that is not enough pizza news for you, the folks over at <strong>ITB Insider<\/strong> reported this week that <strong>Manhattan Pizza<\/strong> will be opening soon at the <strong>Falls Pointe shopping center<\/strong> at 9660 Falls of Neuse Road. While we are not aware of the timeline, the restaurant will open in the space once occupied by <strong>Greek Fiesta<\/strong>. The chain has locations in Virginia and Maryland and this will be their first venture into North Carolina. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.manhattanpizza.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>Check them out here<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We first told you about this back in June, 2017, but the <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> reported this week that <strong>Growler USA<\/strong> will open its first Triangle location this month at 314 S. Blount St. in the <strong>Moore Square Historic District<\/strong>. Apparently other locations are expected in Durham and Wilmington. <a href=\"https:\/\/growlerusa.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>Check out Growler here<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Got a note from reader <strong>Carole Walker<\/strong> that <strong>Creedmoor Caf\u00e9<\/strong> is now open for breakfast and lunch at 8315 Creedmoor Road. <a href=\"https:\/\/creedmoorcafe.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>Check them out here<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>And we are getting closer to the opening of the <strong>North Ridge<\/strong> location of <strong>Zoes Kitchen<\/strong> on Falls of the Neuse Road. There was an invitation-only event last night, and they are conducting staff training with invited guests on Saturday and next Monday. That usually means an opening immediately following that. Couldn\u2019t find an online presence for them &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yelp.com\/biz\/silk-road-cary-2\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>just their Yelp review here<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Down in Apex one of our readers brought it to our attention that <strong>Archibald\u2019s Tavern<\/strong> at 5160 Sunset Lake Road fairly seamlessly transitioned to <strong>Shakey Ray\u2019s Tavern<\/strong>. Might be too early to know what changes to expect, but the website suggests a new menu is forthcoming. <a href=\"https:\/\/shakeyrays.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>Check them out here<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Also in Apex, reader <strong>Chris Creighton<\/strong> shared that a <strong>Mr. Dumpling<\/strong> has opened at 5470 Apex Peakway in the former location of <strong>Lee\u2019s Garden Chinese Restaurant<\/strong>. The single digit temperatures are gone and a warm(er) sunny Sunday is in the forecast for this Sunday\u2019s <strong>Winter Food Truck Rodeo<\/strong> at <strong>Durham&#8217;s Central Park<\/strong>.
