It is located at the intersection of 751 and Renaissance Parkway, behind <strong>Bonefish Grill<\/strong> and beside<strong> Town Hall Burger and Beer<\/strong>. Brought to us by <strong>Jordan Wells<\/strong>, who spent the past six years in the specialty coffee industry, and <strong>David Sadeghi<\/strong>, owner of <strong>Town Hall Burger and Beer<\/strong> (among other successful establishments). The concept features coffee from <strong>Black &amp; White Coffee Roasters<\/strong>, pastries and such from <strong>Strong Arm Baking Co.<\/strong>, and a grab-and-go menu and cold-pressed juice offerings from <strong>Cold Off The Press<\/strong>. Thanks to <strong>Amber Watson<\/strong> at <strong>Bites of Bull City<\/strong> for additional details. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pplscoffee.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>Get familiar with them here<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Wake County Restaurant News<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Triangle Business Journal<\/strong> reported this week that <strong>McCormick &amp; Schmick&#8217;s Seafood &amp; Steaks<\/strong> in Raleigh\u2019s <strong>Crabtree Valley Mall<\/strong> will not renew their lease when it ends in June &#8211; but instead will be replaced by <strong>Uncle Julio\u2019s Mexican<\/strong> which serves a variety of Tex-Mex dishes, from enchiladas to mesquite grilled, bacon-wrapped shrimp.<strong> Uncle Julio\u2019s<\/strong> opens a location at Durham\u2019s <strong>Streets at Southpoint<\/strong> next Tuesday. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unclejulios.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>Get familiar with them here<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The folks over at <strong>EatRaleigh<\/strong> brought it to our attention that <strong>Papa Shogun<\/strong>, which moved into the former <strong>Kimbap<\/strong> spot in <strong>Seaboard Station<\/strong>, is now open (soft opening). <strong>Papa Shogun<\/strong> combines the techniques and flavors of Italian and Japanese cuisines for a new perspective on familiar foods in a refined yet fun environment. They may still be operating in a \u201creservations only\u201d mode during the soft opening, so check first before going. <a href=\"https:\/\/papashogun.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>Check them out here<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Got word from <strong>WRAL<\/strong> that <strong>The Lost Cajun<\/strong> is holding their grand opening in North Raleigh on <strong>December 3rd<\/strong> at 10901 Forest Pines Dr (old <strong>Wendy\u2019s<\/strong>). You\u2019ll be able to enjoy their delicious gumbo as well as their famous catfish and Po boys. <a href=\"https:\/\/thelostcajun.com\/locations\/raleigh-wakefield-nc\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>Check them out here<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Down in Fuquay-Varina, got word from <strong>David McCreary<\/strong> that <strong>Abbey Road Tavern &amp; Grill<\/strong> opened this week at 711 N. Main Street. They also have locations in Cary and Apex. Over the years, <strong>Abbey Road Tavern and Grill<\/strong> earned the title of \u2018Best Burger\u2019 in the Triangle 14 times. <a href=\"https:\/\/abbeyroadnc.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>Check them out here<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>This season, the <strong>Hurricanes<\/strong> will host an <strong>All Star Chef Series<\/strong> during six home games, pairing a four-course meal tasting from a curated collection of North Carolina&#8217;s premier chefs with tickets to a <strong>Carolina Hurricanes<\/strong> home game at<strong> PNC Arena<\/strong>. The first dinner kicks off <strong>Nov. 10<\/strong>. The dinners will be held in the<strong> Arena Club restaurant<\/strong> two hours before the game. Tickets to the dinner and hockey game are $135, with seats in the lower level of <strong>PNC Arena<\/strong>. Hurricanes season ticket holders can get dinner tickets for $75. Apparently they have locations throughout the Southeast. <a href=\"http:\/\/sweetcharlies.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>Get familiar with them here<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>In Chapel Hill, <strong>WRAL<\/strong> shared that <strong>CAVA<\/strong>, which will be in the <strong>Village Plaza<\/strong> shopping center on Elliott Road just down from Whole Foods, will swing open their doors <strong>TODAY, Friday, November 9th<\/strong>. <strong>CAVA<\/strong>, a Greek\/Mediterranean concept, allows you to customize your ideal grain bowl, salad, or pita. <a href=\"https:\/\/cava.com\/locations\/filter\/tag\/nc\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>Start getting familiar with them here<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>On Chapel Hill\u2019s Franklin Street, got word this week that <strong>Lula\u2019s<\/strong>, which opened in the former <strong>Spanky\u2019s<\/strong> location on the corner of Franklin and Columbia streets in June 2018, is beginning <strong>brunch service<\/strong> this <strong>Sunday, November 11<\/strong>. They will be offering classic brunch staples like chicken and waffles, Lula&#8217;s specialties such as sweet potato and squash strata, and hand-crafted brunch cocktails. <a href=\"https:\/\/lulaschapelhill.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>Check them out here<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Also on Franklin Street, got word from <span data-hovercard-owner-id=\"22\" data-hovercard-id=\"miked@depersia-associates.com\"><strong>Mike Depersia<\/strong><\/span> of <strong>National Restaurant Properties<\/strong> that they sold <strong>Asia Cafe<\/strong> on Franklin Street to the owners of <strong>Curry Point Express<\/strong> in RTP. The Chapel Hill property will reopen shortly as a fusion of the two restaurants. If you are not already, get familiar with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.currypointexpress.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>Curry Point Express here<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>On a recent drive through Chapel Hill, saw a sign up for <strong>Haw River Grill<\/strong> at 243 S. Elliott Road in the <strong>Elliott Square<\/strong> shopping center just down from <strong>Jersey Mike\u2019s<\/strong>. Surprisingly, we were unable to locate an online presence. So we&#8217;ll just have to wait a little longer until someone can <a href=\"mailto:sean@trianglefoodguy.com\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>share a little bit more information<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>One final note from Chapel Hill, <strong>SECU Family House at UNC Hospitals<\/strong> in Chapel Hill will operate a <strong>Dewey\u2019s Bakery holiday shop<\/strong> in Chapel Hill&#8217;s <strong>University Place<\/strong> (located across from <strong>Chick-fil-A<\/strong>) <strong>Friday, Nov. 16 through Dec. 23<\/strong>. Since 1996, students in our area have donated enough to provide nearly 6 million meals. Join the cause!
