See you in two weeks!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Wake County Restaurant News<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Got word from the folks over at<strong> ITB Insider<\/strong> that <strong>Boylan Bridge Brewpub<\/strong> is under new ownership. <strong>Sara<\/strong> and <strong>Chris Abernethy<\/strong> have been holding the reins for just shy of two months and they already have plans for lots of changes, beginning with a new menu that comes out this week. Stay tuned as new life is pumped into this special place. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boylanbridge.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>Check them out here<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Over in <strong>Cameron Village<\/strong>, the <strong>ITB Insider<\/strong> also broke the news that <strong>Cava Mezze<\/strong> is moving into the former <strong>Noodles &amp; Company<\/strong> space. <strong>Cava Mezze<\/strong> is a sister restaurant of <strong>Cava Grill<\/strong>. The sit-down restaurant version of the fast-casual <strong>Cava<\/strong> chain offers similar menus that include classic Mediterranean ingredients like lamb, hummus, falafel, yogurt, and more. Permits were issued last week. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cavamezze.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>Get familiar with them here<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Out in the Glenwood Avenue area heading out toward the airport we got a couple of updates from reader <strong>Pat Rago<\/strong>. The first was that there is a &#8220;Now Hiring&#8221; sign up at <strong>Mami Nora&#8217;s<\/strong> (albeit the sign says <strong>Mami&#8217;s<\/strong>). <strong>Pat<\/strong> also shared the news that <strong>The Pickled Onion<\/strong> (actually, <strong>The Pickled Onion 2<\/strong>, as this is their second location), behind CarMax (at 8511 Cantilever Way) is now open. You&#8217;ll be able to enjoy their delicious gumbo as well as their famous catfish and Po boys. <a href=\"https:\/\/thelostcajun.com\/locations\/raleigh-wakefield-nc\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>Check them out here<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Also in North Raleigh, got word that <strong>Burney&#8217;s Sweets &amp; More<\/strong> is getting very close to swinging open their doors at 4500 Falls of Neuse Road. Yes, their famous glazed croissants and 15-Layer cakes will soon be making their grand appearance in the Oak City. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Burneys-Sweets-More-of-Raleigh-26215512768904\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>Keep up with their opening on Facebook here<\/b><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>This season, the <strong>Hurricanes<\/strong> are hosting an <strong>All Star Chef Series<\/strong> during six home games, pairing a four-course meal tasting from a curated collection of North Carolina&#8217;s premier chefs with tickets to a <strong>Carolina Hurricanes<\/strong> home game at <strong>PNC Arena<\/strong>. The first one kicked off Nov. 10. The dinners will be held in the <strong>Arena Club<\/strong> restaurant two hours before the game. Tickets to the dinner and hockey game are $135, with seats in the lower level of <strong>PNC Arena<\/strong>. Hurricanes season ticket holders can get dinner tickets for $75.
